OK, my question for the day is suppose you had a friend who was in a relationship and for whatever reason, you thought the man was using her.

You have no hard evidence, but you just have STRONG misgivings.

DO you tell her?

Or since you have no hard facts, do you just leave it alone???

If a friend told you that she thought your SO was using you, but had no evidence, how would you react?

Would you prefer she said nothing without hard facts to back it up?

Oh boy this hits home. I have a friend like that now. I know this man is using her its evident and have witnessed evidence...BUT i think she knows it too but is looking through rose colored glasses however, i stop telling her that i think hes a loser. Why, because she is thinking with her heart and not her head and anything i tell her or even give her scenarios as to how hes using her she just dismisses it. Its so obvious. He will tell her lil sweet things to keep her going and she buys it. Once shes ready to see the light she will, so i stop getting involved but it hurts me because i know she can do so much better and she is a lovely person, but i hope she wakes up before shes broke for a fool. In respect to the second part of ur question, if someone says my SO is using me then i need to understand/hear facts as to why they think such to back that up. Anyone can say oh such and such is using u.

I'm finished with all my travel plans for the interview, got a RT ticket for $308 on Northwest....pure luck on 4 weeks notice. LOL

Dave's medical is on 3/18......Do you think he'll get his packet 4 appointment letter in time?? It was supposedly sent out last Thursday???

I have to admit, just by looking at photos even in this thread, I often have a 'notion'.

So far, some have already broken up, there is one I think is DEFINITELY gone as he gets his green card and about 3 other 'hmmms'.....

But the way I look at it, who the hell I am to look at a photo and tell you that he's out for what he can get?

With my friends, I tell them ONCE and leave it.

I love this point they are grown. I agree. My dads friends couldn't believe that he supported me full with me marrying my hubby from JA. He said she is grown and I support her in whatever she does. They just were stun that he and my family would fly down to JA for the wedding. The best part were my parents and brothers support.

I emailed the embassy & they emailed me back and said if he doesn't get it in 7-10 days THEN they'll set up a time for him to pick it up......I guess we could do that but it's only been 5 days

They gave him packet 3 at the window when he dropped off the Ds230 so maybe we'll do it that way again?.........

You all are making me reflect back today.

Andre and I talked every day for hours a day when we were seperated. I can only remember a few arguments. Otherwise, we used the time to get to know each other better and better. We talked about some crazy stuff all the time. Today, it's much the same. I still talk to him a few times a day via the phone, especially if our schedules conflict. And, we'll sit for hours and talk about crazy stuff, liking the double rocker on our back porch best of all. It's one of my favorite things about us.

That is sweet!!

My husband and I married after knowing each other for 8 years so we knew each other well. We still chat and go out once a week to be alone and shot the breeze.
