Dimps I waited to get my husbands in the mail....got ss# pretty quickle but the GC took about 1mth..they mailed everything...u don't have to go to SS office if u checked the box that says u want them to mail GC/SS card to ur address

oh really then I have nothing to worry about then......thanks how is everything with you? belly big yet? you know they say the 2nd child you show right away. when i had my daughter i didn't show for 6 months. when i had my son 2nd month everybody knew i was knocked up.

Yeah Gurl, I hear you! Thank goodness we stayed in Negril & our driva told us to DRESS WARM and in layers!!! Those St. Elizabeth mountains can get COLD!!! Man, I was so impressed with Tony's show!

The show was great - But it was a LONG LONG trip! DJ drove, and he had never been - my friend and I had on skorts and tank tops! He and his friend just had on long sleeve shirts - at one point, the 4 of us were huddled in a pile on the ground trying to share body heat, lol! It was worth it, but it was a long long night - we didn't reach back to Ochi until around 2 pm the next day, and I went straight to bed!

I FEEL THE EARTH MOVE UNDER MY FEET..........Woke up at 4:39 a.m. today to a nice little earthquake. Ironically, it's the 102 anniversary of the San Fancisco Earthquake TODAY. I'm all for commemorating; but come on........

I was cussing. First time I got to sleep all the way till 4 a.m. all week. I knew something had to ruin it!

My husband lives in St. Ann's Bay and he was telling me that di rain dat come pon dem was WICKED!! He told me that he had to help his aunt and her 3 children that live in the room beneath him to higher ground because her place was flooded out I worry about he and his family so much...it just seems like things are so difficult at times for them and mi waan tek weh di trials dem! I pray for all those who have family and loved ones in the area that they are ok....

JG...and EARTHQUAKE!! Mi heart woudda stop if mi felt di earth move!! That is my whole reason for remaining on the East Coast...hardly none of that stuff!! Everything ok?

Lawny...girl, glad you're back...but hate it's under such pressing circumstances...you're a true gem...remember that you have folks praying for you (me included) and who are here to support you...no madda what bad man or di devil seh...

on a side note, remember when I took out all my shoes from the closet the other saturday. mr jengles said how him never know the bottom of the closet had carpet.

I just heard about the mudslide and flooding. How awful I can't believe it's right in the middle of town right where we hang out when we go down there! I hope no one got hurt and they can get it cleaned up really quickly.

I just heard about the earthquake on CNN at work. Apparantly some people here in Michigan felt it too, but I didn't. I didn't even think we got earthquakes in the midwest?????

We just went to Florida for a quick 3 day trip. Tony found out he has a cousin there and we went for his wedding last Saturday. It was very informal and small, but very good homemade Jamaican food! It's the first time I have EVER seen people (the wedding guests) filling up carry-out boxes to take leftover food home with them! They had Manish water but I wouldn't try it
