Hey everyone!! I missed you gals for the past couple days. I was really sick Tuesday night so hubby had to drive me to the hospital. I had caught a real bad viral flu and also had some other gross sickness I rather not discuss. UGH. I was came home yesterday afternoon and today is the first time with a normal temp. All I got to say is those birthing beds are uncomfortable and I had to lie in one position all night so they could hear the babies heart rate. She is still far up and hasn't moved downward yet. I guess now we are ready for the real thing. The doc told me to take the rest of this week of from work to recover. I guess that means I only have to work 4 1/2 more days.

I am going to try to stay awake and catch up.

Shauna you will have to let us know how your doctor appointment goes mania? I can't wait to see pics of your little one any day.

How are all the other preggers doing?

well i thought it would be a in and out visit....but of course that is never how it is....first off the place i got my u/s never faxed them the results and really didn't feel like doing it either today...so i had to wait a hour for nothing....then they want me to go get some more blood work done and a non-stress test done on monday as well all because from what they tell me my b/p was slightly high....i really don't see the reason for all these tests but i guess they know better...oh well....other then that baby was good heart rate was strong and she has come down a little bit but not a lot so they think i am looking at maybe another 2 weeks

Another 2 weeks wow hang in there. Shauna you and I need to combine our blood pressure together and it will be just right. Mine was extreme low in the hospital. I always have low blood pressure.

my bp has always been good....ever since i have gotten preggo it has gotten a little high....i will just be glad when they are done sticking there needles in me!!!

I understand the feeling. The IV was a killer but I tried to take it like a Lady and not a baby. I am so bad with pain. Then they had to take 5 things of the good red stuff of and another yuck test. I am there screaming in pain why my hubby is just looking at me.

wishing he could help.

An update you guys. I got packet #4 in the mail today. It was generated on 3/24 but not mailed out until 4/7. I just can't understand the inefficiency of these Government agencies. Two weeks to mail out the most important piece of mail that brings this daunting and stressful process to an end. I now have to send it to him DHL in the morning because I got the letter when I was getting ready to come to work tonight.

I just hope and pray that it gets there before his medical next week (4/16).

I want to once again thank you all for your support and for listening to my constant whining. Now to start a Yardie May interview thread.

Did he receive a packet 4 also? My husband and I received packet 4 the same week. If you want to be safe you could express ship it to him tomorrow. Good luck you guys are in our thoughts and prayers.

Jax, he has not received one piece of mail that the NVC has sent to him since July 2007. That is why I was so twisted in a pretzel about it. I wanted to get it in time to be able to send it to him. I am going to send it to him via DHL in the morning. I am also going to fax a copy of the letter to my girlfriend in Portmore and have him go pick it up this weekend, just in case the package does not get there on time for his medical appointment.

Wakey

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

Wow, Wakey congrats!! You are moving through so quickly!

Thanks Sus. Me know it is moving fast. I only prayed for it when we start and then prayed for dates I wanted it finished by and it looks like things are moving towards the goal. Waiting on interview notice now..drum roll

Oh, this sucks. I am so tired of seeing other november filers (and later filers) get their approvals. I know I need to stay positive but where does that get you?!?!? Arggghhhhhhh.

Hey Ladies;

Jamaica is so HOT...he was so surprised that he started to cry UNCONTROLLABLY...it got worse when I told him above the approval. I'll fill ya'll in a little later. Well I miss talking to ya'll everyday so, we had to find a internet cafe shop. We dropped of the DS-230 yesterday (have to tell ya'll about that also) they allowed me to go in with him, but they gave us back the 2 pictures told us it was not necessary to to make sure we have 4. They also asked us if we got packet 3 yet and we told them no, so they told us to wait 10 minutes and gave us that.

********************************************************************************

....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
