Lawny IS the one who embedded the pressure cooker cover in the ceiling.

I've been looking at Crocs also, and yes they are ugly

They have other styles that are not ugly!

I saw the sassari and those are very nice of course i like them in the gold, but i'm mi nuh no, not pigeon toed the other thing were your feet point out to the side. I would fall off of those in no times. I have to have ankle straps to tie mi down when wearing high heeled slides.

I haven't had that problem with them - They are the most comfortable pair of heels that I own - The one thing I did learn is to order smaller than you usually wear - I wear a 9.5 or 10 - The 10s slid off my feet. I have them in pink / white and black / white - I like the gold, too - I bought them from shoebuy.com when they had a coupon sale, so I got them cheap.

Enjoy today, Gill! You must be bouncing off the walls!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....Thanks Sus-ie! I am!!! He called me bright and early this morning to ask me if I have any plans for tonight...cause he would like to take me out! (Silly)

I just can't believe that we are here...I've cried...worried...screamed and agonized over this day and it is finally here! (I hope it's not anti-climatic!) We start our physical journey together as a power couple tonight...however our powerful love and spiritually togetherness we have been there from day one!

I want to take a moment to tell all of you how grateful I am for your support and acts of kindness of the last nine months! Whether is be our seasoned Elders that helped me every step of the way or our welcomed new additions that have given sent up their prayers upon our behalf! I feel truly blessed and humbled to be around such inspiring women everyday!

I recently read a thread about what MENA VJ means to a member...Well here's what Yardie VJ means to me:

Friendship, Sisterhood, Guidance, Patience, Understanding, Love, Nuturing, Laughter, Tears, and a place to exhale!

THANK YOU GUYS FOR MAKING MY FIRST LEG OF THIS JOURNEY A LOT EASIER TO BEAR... Sometimes we don't get to tell people in our lives how much if an impact they make upon us...Well, I didn't want to let this opportunity pass without letting ALL of you know how each and everyone of you have touched our lives (Ken & I). Each and everyone of you in some small way share in Ken's arrival here today...so again...We thank you!

Bless-ed Bless-ed Love ALWAYS,

Gill & Ken

I flew down there and brought him back with me, so I didn't do a thing. But, my friend, Deb, met us at the airport. She had a big sign she had made. She had a balloon bouquet with red/white/blue balloons and a big flag balloon. She had this cowboy hat she made him wear. We had worn the exact same jeans and same blue colored shirts so the pictures turned out pretty cool. She was screaming and crying and making complete strangers take pictures of us.

We just went home that day, taking the long route so he could see the Arch and Busch Stadium. The excitement of the trip was enough for one day.

What a speech Gill - it's wonderful! Made me tear up (which I hate doing at work!!) Enjoy every step of it today. Not having done it yet I have no suggestions other than a video camera and capture the moment. Then when you get the moment where you feelin like ripping his hair out (not the coolies of course - LOL) you play that video and all these feelings will come rushing back in.

I can't wait to walk in your shoes!!!

Is today Lawny's day to fly south as well? If so, safe travels Lawny. I was thinking of you when I was in Wal-Mart this morning. I was amazed my little WM in the bush sells the 36 pack as well.

Have Fun GILL.

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

Intimacy....In/to/me/see...
