Sunny, still check with MVA. It took that long to get an appointment for EVERYTHING....even to get an state ID. They have to view his foreign documents first.

If he has a valid I-94 or K-1, he can just walk in with two proofs of address, his social security number and his passport.

Then he'll have to do a 3 -hour drug and alcohol course, take the written test and driving test to convert.

He can drive on his JA license for up to a year.

That's just it..he didn't have anything with our address before the I-94...they wanted bills.

Tonisha @ Congratulations!! He will be here before you know it. Whoooo!!!

JaEnglishGirl @ Sorry to hear about your drivers licenses problems. I wish your state was as easy as ours.

JONESIE @ Long time no see1 Gavin is a handsome little lad. He has grown sense your first pic :)!All the best with passing your stats class! Hopefully your teacher will be helpful.

Nbsaw @ the adjustment just takes time. Like I have said before the first couple months are the hardest with all the new things to learn. Just keep your ####### and things will get there. Take everything as baby steps cause change will not come fast. Thanks for sharing your story it brings back memory's of HD just arriving last year.

Shauna @ I am glad everybody at your college is O.K. That can be so scary. I just don't understand this whole obsession with school shootings. When it happened in my hometown I was in shock. Like it couldn't happen here. Right now they are trying to figure out what to do with the building. The community here has come together sense Valentines Day in helping out. Forward Together Forward.

Gill @ Get some sleep tonight girl. All the best tomorrow. How exciting. YEAH!! Another couple starting their journey of life together. LOVE IT

Jomo/Gill @ That reminds me of my hubby. He pulled a prank on me. Oh and it wasn't just him it was the whole gang of guys I use to teach with. They called and said they got busted with gang and were going to jail cause they were selling it to tourist. I was so mad because the interview was coming up. I was speechless and I can't believe everyone played along with him. He hung up and called back later to tell my April fooles. I should of known better because none of them have even tried ganga. AHAHAH

Met Jan 1998, vows on 2006, Jay Jay born 2008, baby 2 - 2011

yup it was a very scary couple of hours....my brother called around 11 am to let us know he was ok and the campus was in lock down and he was in his dorm....he didn't know what had happend or what was happening...slowly the news was being released that 2 males i guess had been talking or something like that and the one male made threats....so the other went to a professor and told him what had been said...the prof. called police and the police felt it was serious enough to put the whole campus on lock down....The police the released his name and the students went onto facebook to see who it was..here he was at the library...so when he went outside to a smoke break they locked the door and called police....it is just scary how these things can happen!!!
