Dang,

Have to go to HR since the girl I was working with filed a grievance against me last week. I cannot work with her becuase of her body order and HR knows about this. It's very OFFENSIVE. I'm not the only one that has complained to her manager. So, she goes and tells them that I cuss her out in my language in front of a room of people. But I think the real reason is does not like me becuase I'm Jamaican and her EX (is also JAMAICAN)...so here we go. I think I'll sit on my HANDS for this meeting. I'll bring a jar of VASELINE just in case

JAE - No presents...just went out to dinner which was really nice. My siblings are taking me extreme bowling tomorrow night. Bowling in the dark with black lights and some crazy music playing from 9:30-11:30 should be interesting but don't these kids know I am an old woman now and can't stay up that late I am going to have to take a nap first

for either reason because they thought your s/o wasn't going to make u happy, he was using you or because you were happy??

I didn't lose any friends but some of my friendships changed. These people supported me while during my long distance relationship with Damien. But when he came the calls stopped or they never ask about him. I think that's strange.

Others didn't expect Damien to do so well or we would last. They never said it but I can tell...

I experienced this and i'm sort of at a loss as to why, and when i go to call, it's oh i was going to call u.

yup same here....my friends were so excited for him to come here...then when he was here....the calls stopped....

No JENGS, mi nevah see, but I've people tell me things. I don't brother him though. In the past I would ask and he would say no he don't know such and such. Then come to find out, he knew the person for years. So, it's all good. WHAT YOU DO IN THE DARK, will one day come to LIGHT (grannie again).

I told my 'supportive' family members and my father. Aunts, Uncles...everyone one else jus a guh haffi find thorugh my family's gossip network! They will all talk ish amongst each other...but not to my face! I tried to tell the 'head' of deh gossip tree last night( so she could kick hoff deh new 'NEWS')...but as soon as she hear seh mi a guh Kingston...she start wan bag ah fussin'! Mi neva even git round fi tell har WHY mi a guh Kingston!

It's exhausting...I told 2 more family members this week...both of them immediately said the sane thing..."Yuh sure hit not Green cyard em a look!" On one hand I know I have matured alot ...cause deh old Gill wouldda cuss dem han keep moving. I see it as them looking out for me...which is sweet! But I'm a grown-a$$ ooman...Good or bad is my decision fi mek!

Yup their all coming to the wedding! It'll be VERY INTERESTING!!

Gill, mi olda sista is the gossip network fi mi fambly. I hate it!! She was the one who told my dad of my engagement before I could do it. And she was the one who spread all this negative thinking and energy about him while I was planning my wedding. Thus making half my family not even support my engagement and not plan to go to my wedding. And don't get me started at how she went on at the wedding. Mi swear!!! Mi wan fi box her right then and there inna mi wedding dress!

I thought u did tell anyone, I did the same thing, i didn't tell everyone because originally i had planned to have a wedding up here, but after but they all knew and said oh you never tell me u was getting married, mi just seh, anyway, this is my husband and this is my daughter, because mi never tell mi pregnant either...cause nobody nah tell mi nuttin same way.

OK, my question for the day is suppose you had a friend who was in a relationship and for whatever reason, you thought the man was using her.

You have no hard evidence, but you just have STRONG misgivings.

DO you tell her?

Or since you have no hard facts, do you just leave it alone???

If a friend told you that she thought your SO was using you, but had no evidence, how would you react?

Would you prefer she said nothing without hard facts to back it up?

I would tel her, but it's all about the timing. don't tell her when they are all lovey dovey, wait until she complaining about something he did and then say something like. yeah i notice he always does such and such and keept it moving. she may not agree with you are say anything at all, but she will start thinking about it.

But this never works. No woman is gonna listen to another woman tell her about her man....we are just too stubborn that way. I say yall all adults deal wit yuh own problems when dem arise. unless she ASK you something, then say nothing until you have HARD evidence that something bad is happening.

I said she might start thinking about it, I really wouldn't expect a yes u right, right then and there, but let her do her own check and it doesn't have to be about green card, sometimes people use people for place to live an stuff like that.
