here in MD, you have to surrender your foreign license when you are issued with the MD one...

because he had to do everything from scratch i was advised not to even tell dmv that he had a j.a. liscense

I have to admit, just by looking at photos even in this thread, I often have a 'notion'.

So far, some have already broken up, there is one I think is DEFINITELY gone as he gets his green card and about 3 other 'hmmms'.....

But the way I look at it, who the hell I am to look at a photo and tell you that he's out for what he can get?

With my friends, I tell them ONCE and leave it.

They are grown, if they can't hear, they will feel.

My good good friend constantly cheats on her husband, she loves him but she says she can't help it.

So I just keep out of it, and ask her to keep me out of it.

Lied for her once when she put me on the spot, but NEVER again.....

sometimes i think people know they are being used but really don't care. they hope the person will stay with them. somone once told me that every relationship has a little using going on. never looked into that part of it.

OK, my question for the day is suppose you had a friend who was in a relationship and for whatever reason, you thought the man was using her.

You have no hard evidence, but you just have STRONG misgivings.

DO you tell her?

Or since you have no hard facts, do you just leave it alone???

If a friend told you that she thought your SO was using you, but had no evidence, how would you react?

Would you prefer she said nothing without hard facts to back it up?

Without evidence, I choose to stay quiet.

But what if you see the SO with another woman (several) times. Would you still stay quiet.? I've lost a few friends this way. Sometimes I just don't know what to do. Sometimes I say nothing and I lose a friend, because the other woman told my friend that I knew about the relationship all along. Touchy subject. I just don't know. I love my friend and I don't want to see her hurt, but what her SO is doing is wrong, so, do I say something or keep my MOUT shut. Last year, my girlfriend was messing with her boyfriend's cousin and I kept telling her it was wrong and she kept tell her boyfriend that she was at my house and he would show up and the drama would go on. One day I just got fedup and I said look, cut the ####### or I'm going to tell. I don't want nobody come shoot my A$$, while you're getting a piece of A$$. Her boyfriend, the cousin and I all went to highschool together and things just went down hill from there.

No, in this case, me seeing something is evidence. What I meant about no evidence was me just having a feeling. If I see something or hear something, of course, I am going to say something.

Good point B. Also about the talking EVERYDAY. You both might need a break between so that when you do talk..youknow it's more quality vs quanty.

Those are all very good points. Marlita I hope you can talk to Evan and let him know how much it is stressing you. A and I had to cut down on our talking as well when we were separate. We just wasted so much money arguing about God knows what when really all we were was frustrated not to be together. Talk to him and let him know exactly what you told us. Hope it gets better.

You all are making me reflect back today.

Andre and I talked every day for hours a day when we were seperated. I can only remember a few arguments. Otherwise, we used the time to get to know each other better and better. We talked about some crazy stuff all the time. Today, it's much the same. I still talk to him a few times a day via the phone, especially if our schedules conflict. And, we'll sit for hours and talk about crazy stuff, liking the double rocker on our back porch best of all. It's one of my favorite things about us.

Have to go to HR since the girl I was working with filed a grievance against me last week. I cannot work with her becuase of her body order and HR knows about this. It's very OFFENSIVE. I'm not the only one that has complained to her manager. So, she goes and tells them that I cuss her out in my language in front of a room of people. But I think the real reason is does not like me becuase I'm Jamaican and her EX (is also JAMAICAN)...so here we go. I think I'll sit on my HANDS for this meeting. I'll bring a jar of VASELINE just in case

Yes, a di same one. She was totally out of line. Well, the meeting lasted all of 7 minutes. She didn't know that I had people backing me. Now, she's totally EMBRASSED about her odor. She was told to apologize to me, but she got up and walked out. I told the HR manager that she makes comments about Jamaicans all the time (and I don't go running to HR) to file a grievance. So, now they moved her out of my work group. THANK THE LORD! Now, I can BREATHE a sign of RELIEF.
