Girl, they just don't know. I tell my people AMERICA is not JOKE! It no EASY! But, you have to be willing to try. My fiance had no INTENTIONS at all to ever come here, but it just happened that we ran into each other and fell in love. We discussed the adjustment process a lot, but I told him, he won't know until he gets here and starts working and gets into the American way of life. I told him, if it's too much for him to handle I'll go back with him. It's easy for me to say that, because that's been my plan for many years.

I'm glad we are on the adjustment topic - that's my biggest worry about Anthony. We have spent countless hours on the phone talking about it and I'm trying to explain to him the differences in US and JA, especially because of the "bush" I live in. He doesn't quite understand there is no bus or taxi to hop on. Even my daughter (who just turned 6) is worried that he will come with his shorts on when we still have snow!! But so far he has the right attitude about it, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. But I will galdly take any suggestions you gals through at me......

it all comes down to when he gets here...everything will seem "OK" until the 1st day u leave him alone in the house and go to work..try to find something in ur area he can do...something to keep him occipied until he starts working

right and then add a baby on top of it like I did. lol

yea him help inna dat part to..when ppl ask mi tell dem I had no part of it..all i did was TURN AROUND

Hey, Tre......how are the eye lashes doing? You worry me with all that stress.

JG --- well, let me tell you  now, I just about died laughing reading this...my auntie standing behind mi reading this this is what she had to say...wah do you eye lash dem. You know seh when ooman start pull out dem eyelash is cause dem naw get no sex...my mouth just dropped open. I asked her what she know about that-- she just winked at me. My aunt is in her late 80s.

Well JG -- I think I have about 3 left and the glue naw wurk. But that okay...cause it's NON-STOP RIDING HELICOPTER FLIP TUN IT BACK WAY, CAR CRASH come APRIL 9TH.

My poor poor fiance  DAMN I hope the 36 pack will last this time.

You are going to come back all calm, cool and collected, aren't you? You better have a bunch of funny stories to tell. I look for those every day.

Tell me, does your 80+ year old aunt have a bunch of thick eyelashes??????????

Actually, yes...her boyfriend is 62 (with his fine self). He asked my aunt to marry him a few year ago and she said SHE' S NOT READY TO SETTLE DOWN YET! We were on the floor dying in laugther.

:rofl::rofl: Mi love yuh auntie already!

YARDS a mi favorite aunti cause she tell it like it is. She will tell you 2 clatt den go pray on it. She's full of life. A mi grandmother sister and her and my grandmother were treated very bad by their husbands. Their husbands had kids all over the place. My grandfather had 24 (only 4 with my grandmotehr) and her husband had 27 (only 6 with my grandaunt). They raised the other woman's kids, because they had no where to go and they were living on the streets. So, they took them in a raised most of them as their own. So, when my auntie seh no mek no man tear you down...mi afi listen.

Girl, she is just so much fun. You should see her dance. Lawd you woudah dead. And don't get me started on the TONGS. Hear my AUNTIE...the one thing about being my age and having SEX you don't have to worry about getting pregnant, but you still have to protect yourself!
