I went for accupuncture after a car accident - The doctor put needles in my back, covered me with a blanket, and put a heat lamp on then turned out the lights - I went sound asleep, to the point that I woke up drooling, lol - Felt like heaven

Sus,

It's wonderful. It's also great for people who suffer from migraines.

That tea story kind of scares me.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

But of course, it scared me too. Girl, it cleaned me out...10 pounds is a lot of weight to lose in 5 days. I fit into the dress, but my mom had to take in the BUST  ...anytime I lose weight my BREAST shrink  every single time. Then my baxide goes next

10 lbs. would be nice; but not in that way. Think I'd rather jog (which I absolutely hate to do!)

She is sooooo cute :luv: From the pics it looks like she doesn't have very much hair...is that the case?

She had a little bit of hair when she was born, but she lost most of it! We're hoping it grows back soon.

I helped Anthony's father do the paperwork to renew his passport 2 years ago and he drove all over the place trying to get just the right photo. The Picture People are the only ones they would accept, even though I couldn't tell the difference between their's and Sears! Just hit them first - don't waste your time with anyone else.

What are you supposed to do if there isn't one near you? They don't even have locations in Michigan!

Thank goodness Tony's passport is still good for a few more years.

Mindy says he is having a photo shoot at Sears and they are going to accept those pics or else. I hope that works for her.

For clarification..........Mindy did say it is NY you have to send them through. She said the pictures MUST be taken in high resolution and they suggest The Picture People. And, that JA is the one that keeps sending her pictures back saying they aren't correct.

I need to vent. 8 weeks ago, my supervisors at work told me I would be on 2nd (afternoon) shift when I came back to work. Then, ONE week before I was due back, they moved me to 1st shift INDEFINATELY  because one of our suppliers is on strike and a bunch of people are laid off. Now I'm still on 1st shift, and no one can give me any info when I'll be going to 2nd. All my plans and arrangements for day care are for 2nd shift. So, Tony has been home with Monique but he's losing his mind and has to go back to work. Plus, we're broke! We need that extra income. So, I don't know what to do. I desperately want to find a new job but I can't find one that pays anything close to this one (that I'm actually qualified for!)

Can you find someone to watch her while on 1st shift?

First thank God that you have a good job.......then go out and solve the daycare issue!

Holy ####### I just watched a clip on Youtube and while I couldn't hear the sounds just see the images alone :help: I am suppose to be getting injections but I am deadly afraid of injections and needles so that is a definite no go for me  I will definitely have to think about this neti pot thing...all that I have read seems positive.

I will if you will JG ;)

You better go first, cause I have my fingers crossed behind my back!

I'd rather get a shot. I don't like things going up my nose!!!!

 but think how much money you would save!

the pins where in my face and behind my ears and below my chin I think. She even put some in my hands. All I know is that it worked. I was also having lower back pain and she used these FLAT stones (they were black and smooth) and they were HEATED...I felt so damn good I wanted to marry the woman.

That sounds WONDERFUL! I have back probs as well...so what kind of doc was she?

I don't think she's a doctor. She's an acunpunturist and a physical therapist...but she uses Chinese medicine. Let me also tell you this, she gave me some tea to drink, I had to fit into a bridesmaid dress and it was just a little snug and I had 7 days before the wedding. I don't know what it is, but I lost 10 pounds in those 5 days and I was eating 3 meals a day and not exercising. As soon as I ate and had to go. I never tried it again, I was too scared.

fi real??? Did it make your stomach hurt??? I want that tea.

try explaining to them that you have daycare issues and u didn't expect this to be permanent and when is it going to change?? Then hint that they might be facing two supervisors being out because your husband has to go back to work. Who on the 2nd shift now??

That's the thing JENGS. It never made my stomach hurt or anything. You just go to the bathroom almost immediately or within the hour. She says a lot of young girls abuse it, because it keeps them thin. But it's only suppose to be used for 30 days or less. It's to jump start your weight loss, but some people stay on it for months. She CLAIMS it does not damage the body and she's used it for years and been recommending it for years.
