:lol: yAADS whatever yuh do ..DO NOT invite mi to yuh yaard..cause MI N OT coming..how yuh husband manage :luv: u must LOVE it there..

 What a chicken...couldn't survive in the bush?!?

A loves it here just as much if not more than me  He says "you can adapt to eating food other than JA food plus we are getting it from NY so he is happy. The place is clean and friendly. People take care of their property and their things. There is little to no crime. The vibe is nice and he loves how it really is like a community." His biggest complaint is how far away from JA it is...we can't just go for a week or whatnot because it takes 1+ day each way just in traveling plus with the cost of fare it just isn't cost effective to go for short spurts. We both dream of being able to hop on a plane and go visit for a long weekend and it only cost around $200 each and a quick 2 hour flight.

Weh u fine one flight like dat to Ja mek mi know. I think the least I've every paid was $200 something on Sprit Air, I would rather swin and fight wid the dam sharks and whales, before I fly with dem baxide again. I really wonder wah di rass dem do wid my luggage. Mi nevah get eeh back

Those are just the flights/prices we have seen for out of Florida. That would be the ultimate destination...go live in "little Jamaica"

Good for him..how long has he been here now ? i'm all for adapting too but when it's so scarce to get what i live soemtimes would drive me mad..glad he likes it though...I would bet the crime is low..but what u ave u pay or do to get ur favorite stuff...yuh good...

disclaimer...nobody don't ever invite mi to Washington State

And yeah chickens can't live in the bush they need to roam

Washington State is beautiful. The first time I went there was to visit an Adventist College (and don't laugh at the name) Walla Walla College in Walla Walla Washington. I think that's how you spend it. I told my mom mi naw tap yah! But Seattle is beautfil. I love their crabs. I can't remember the name of the seafood market.

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

He has been here for almost 2.5 years. It will be 2.5 years on the 21st of this month. I think it really helps that I had adapted and adopted a lot of the culture from living in JA before he came here. That way in our house we were eating JA food, listening to JA music, talking to each other in patios, watching Laugh Jamaica all the time  ...you know all those things that you associate to JA we did in our home without it necessarily being readily available in the community.
