@Anna welche version von quicken hast du denn?? Und kann maneigentlich ne aeltere version laenger benutzen, oder MUSS man jeden jahr upgraden? Hab leider ueber das 2009 upgrade viel schlechtes gehoert :(

11/25/08 - check cashed

12/10/08 - Biometrics letter

12/19/08 - second Biometrics letter

12/26/09 - went to Boston for Biometrics Appointment - THEY WERE CLOSED!!!!!!!!!

01/13/09 - Biometrics Appointment in Boston

01/13/09 - several phonecalls to uscis to find out where my extension letter is - will send out extension letter which will take up to 3 weeks

01/21/09 - phonecall to uscis about the extension letter. They are still working on the service request! told me to go to an infopass

appointment

01/22/09 - went to SS office to get a new SS-card. They won't issue a new one because me GC expires in 2 weeks.

01/22/09 - talked to the Office of my congressman. They will look into the issue and call me back - hopefully!!!!

01/26/09 - talked to the Office of the congressman. She read an email to me from USCIS stating that they sent out the letter on Friday!

They said I should have it in 7 days! So now we wait.....again!

01/29/09 - extension letter received!

05/15/09 - Removal of conditions approved :) ..waiting for actual card now :)

06/01/09 - Card in the mail!

@ Susanne: Wir updaten net... Bisher hat das keinen Sinn gemacht weil die neuen Funktionen net unbedingt von uns gebraucht werden. Wir haben noch die 2006 Version und die tut's prima. Immer wenn das update Fenster kommt (so alle 3 Monate) sag ich immer nein danke und fertig. :)

@ Andi: Ein Bild von Jona ist natuerlich hier: http://s192.photobucket.com/albums/z13/nia...nt=DSC02422.jpg Mittlerweile ist er aber schon groesser. Er war ja 3 Wochen zu frueh dran und wog nur 5lb 10oz....

@Andy: Ich glaube viel hast Du nicht verpasst....Evi hat ihr Baby-girl (Allison) kurz vor Anna bekommen und wir haben alle ein get-together geplant im 70er Stil. Du warst auch eingeladen. Hier ist der Link

Leider muessen wir uns nur eine andere Location suchen.

Andy, herzlichen Glue auch noch von mir!

Schoen, dass es Mama und Tochter gut geht.

Anna, such beim naechsten grocery shopping mal die Commissary ab, nahe der Deli-Abteilung, wo die den abgepackten italienischen Kaese und Co. verkaufen, stehen in meiner seit ein paar Wochen auch die Quarkbecher(gruen/blau). Letztes Mal waren sie ausverkauft, scheint aber nun im Sortiment zu sein, ich habe gefragt.

Laugenbroetchen verkaufen sie seit neuestem auch - schmecken authentisch. Ich war beeindruckt. Ein Teil kostet dann aber gleich auch mal huebschliche $ 1.19. Naja, ab und an goenne ich mir das mal. Ich glaube, Anfang 2007 habe ich in Dland fuer eins auch schon 0.65 Euro bezahlt und das scheint ja in den letzten Monaten nochmal ordentlich teurer geworden zu sein.

Quark: gibts bei uns auch bei Safeway und Giant - aber ist dort sogar teurer als bei Wholefoods (und das will was heissen!)

Tja, ich bin mal wieder alleine zu Hause. Irgendwie wird das langsam echt lästig. Chris und ich waren für ein paar Tage geschäftlich in Massachusetts - wie oft kommt sowas schon vor, wenn beide trips unabhängig voneinander geplant und gebucht werden? :whistle: Jetzt ist er in South Carolina und ich hock in Virginia. :wacko:

Süss euer Kleiner! Herzlichen Glückwunsch. Hab mitbekommen das es ihm nicht so gut ging. Ich hoffe es geht jetzt besser.

Emilia war aufgrund des Kaiserschnitts auch eine Woche zu früh.

Ein get-together in Florida wäre toll gewesen. Wir sind im November sowieso in Florida. Schade, dass das ganze so wie geplant nicht stattfinden wird. :(

Ja, wir sind im neuen Haus. Schon eine ganze Weile jetzt. Alles hat super geklappt. Mein Opa und Vater sind damals im März ja rüber gekommen um uns zu helfen. Mein Opa war das erste mal in den Staaten und es hat im super gefallen.

Wir lieben unser Haus und über Weihnachten wird es hier richtig voll sein. Meine Mutter kommt im November für fast zwei Monate und im Dezember kommen dann meine Schwester, mein Vater, meine Großmutter und mein Onkel. Es wird zwar eng werden, aber wir freuen uns schon darauf.
