Gründe waren, dass ich beruflich benachteiligt bin, weil viele Stellen hier die US citizenship voraussetzen und dass mein Mann mit seiner security clearance Probleme bekommt, wenn ich die US citizenship nicht habe.

@ahn herzlichen glueckwunsch zum nachwuchs, ein suesser fratz!

@evi schoen das ihr das haus jetzt endlich schwarz auf weiss "in haenden" habt!! und hoffentlich wirds umziehen nicht so anstrengend!

@thea glueckwunsch zur bbg!! du hast ja richtig drifftige gruende, war mir von vornherein schon klar das du ie ohne probleme bekommst!

ich bin jetzt auch schon am ueberlegen was ich denn fuer gruende angeben kann wenn ich dann citizenship beantrag (hab meine gc im feb 2008 bekommen, dann kann ich ende 2010 ja beantragen oder?)

@stefanie ich wuerde versuchen den namen mit der airline zu aendern. falls das nicht geht, nimm soviele offizielle docs mit die beweisen das du jetzt so und so heisst und so und so war dei maidename! daumen sind gedrueckt!

ich hab gestern tickets nach dland gebucht fuer $525 ende februar! ich nehm meine freundin mit, die war noch nie in dland!

AAAHHHHH, ich koennte gerade durchdrehen...hab bei skyways.de richtig gute tickets gefunden, und dann hat meine mama in deutschland gesagt, dass sie uns die tickets gerne zu weihnachten schenken will...

jetzt hab ich alles eingegeben aber da meine mama nicht mit uns reist kann ich ihre kreditkarte nicht benutzen....ahhhhhhh :crying::bonk:

@babsi klasse dass deine namensaenderung nu doch durch ist. hoffe du findest nen guten flug. Kannst doch deine CC nehmen und mama gibt dir das geld dann eben anders :)

@thea Glueckwunsch zur BBG. jetzt kanns ja losgehen. Wir werden wohl noch ein bisschen warten mit dem citizenship. Is alles einfach so teuer und nu muss erstmal mein removal durch :)

@flugtickets wir haben letztes Jahr direkt bei Northwest gebucht. war am guenstigsten.

11/25/08 - check cashed

12/10/08 - Biometrics letter

12/19/08 - second Biometrics letter

12/26/09 - went to Boston for Biometrics Appointment - THEY WERE CLOSED!!!!!!!!!

01/13/09 - Biometrics Appointment in Boston

01/13/09 - several phonecalls to uscis to find out where my extension letter is - will send out extension letter which will take up to 3 weeks

01/21/09 - phonecall to uscis about the extension letter. They are still working on the service request! told me to go to an infopass

appointment

01/22/09 - went to SS office to get a new SS-card. They won't issue a new one because me GC expires in 2 weeks.

01/22/09 - talked to the Office of my congressman. They will look into the issue and call me back - hopefully!!!!

01/26/09 - talked to the Office of the congressman. She read an email to me from USCIS stating that they sent out the letter on Friday!

They said I should have it in 7 days! So now we wait.....again!

01/29/09 - extension letter received!

05/15/09 - Removal of conditions approved :) ..waiting for actual card now :)

06/01/09 - Card in the mail!

ICh schau immer erst bei LH direkt und dann such ich nach billigeren Angeboten aber wie es aussieht ist LH meist direkt am guenstigsten.

@ Thea: Congrats zur Beibehaltung!!!!! :D

@ Alle: Zwecks married name auf dem Flugticket, es ist alles okay. Collin hat bei der Airline angerufen und die haben gemeint, dass ich einfach mein marriage certificate/military ID am check-in vorzeigen soll und dann wird der Name geaendert. :)

Gestern hab ich ausserdem ein InfoPass appointment in Seattle gemacht. Der Termin ist am 15. Dezember. Da kann ich mir endlich meinen Stempel abholen und fragen: Where the heck is my approval!??!!! Jetzt ist es schon ueber 16 Monate her, dass ich mein I-751 beantragt habe. Danach gehts zum shoppen downtown. Hehe! :)
