@babsi oh jeh, na da hoffe ich ja mal, dass die namensaenderung noch vor dezember durchgeht.

12/26/09 - went to Boston for Biometrics Appointment - THEY WERE CLOSED!!!!!!!!!

01/13/09 - Biometrics Appointment in Boston

01/13/09 - several phonecalls to uscis to find out where my extension letter is - will send out extension letter which will take up to 3 weeks

01/21/09 - phonecall to uscis about the extension letter. They are still working on the service request! told me to go to an infopass

appointment

01/22/09 - went to SS office to get a new SS-card. They won't issue a new one because me GC expires in 2 weeks.

01/22/09 - talked to the Office of my congressman. They will look into the issue and call me back - hopefully!!!!

01/26/09 - talked to the Office of the congressman. She read an email to me from USCIS stating that they sent out the letter on Friday!

They said I should have it in 7 days! So now we wait.....again!

01/29/09 - extension letter received!

05/15/09 - Removal of conditions approved :) ..waiting for actual card now :)

06/01/09 - Card in the mail!

Danke fuer all die Kommentare zu Ben's Fotos. Wir haben gerade unsere Weihnachtskarten geordert und uns ist voll bewusst geworden dass wir eine richtige Familie sind... wie schnell die Zeit vergeht. *Kopfschuettel*

@Babsi: Tolle Wurscht, die Buerokratie ist glaube ueberall gleich. Also hast du jetzt nen neuen Pass mit altem Nachnamen im Konsulat liegen?

@Chnst: Ich hatte auch erst gedacht, dass ich wieder schwanger bin weil mir auch abends die Beine wieder so wehtun, mir war bisschen uebel gestern und moody bin ich bis ans Ende also bin ich zum Walmarcht und hab mir nen Test gekauft. Ich will nicht schon wieder schwanger sein, wir hatten doch mit der Kinderplanung abgeschlossen. Irgendwann muss doch mal gut sein :)

Nee, nen neuen pass mit neuem namen...und in 3 wochen wollen wir doch schon fliegen und ich hab noch nicht mal die tickets gekauft, weil ich nicht weiss auf welchen namen ich meins austellen lassen soll...

Stefanie's Mann ist bei der Army. Anh's Mann ist auch in den armed forces glaube, bin mir aber nicht sicher und Anna's Mann ist entweder Army oder Airforce...da siehste mal, wie ich aufpasse :lol:

Ne, in dem Restaurant bin ich schon seit fast 2 jahren nicht mehr, arbeite mittlerweile als persoenliche assistentin, ist ziemlich interessant und wird gut bezahlt! und schwanger werden will ich auch erstmal nicht!!

er vermisst es schon etwas. und mit college ist er ende dezember auch fertig und dann will er wohl WOCS und dann fuer die naechsten paar jahre wieder zur army...mal gucken

hallo ihr lieben!

Thanksgiving steht vor der Tuer und die Schwiegereltern denken dass es noetig sei, am Samstag herzufliegen (thanksgiving verbringen sie bei E.s bruder).

ich hab keine ahnung ueber was ich mich mit ihnen auch nur unterhalten soll.

E und ich denken immer mehr darueber nach, anfang naechstes jahr die pille abzusetzen, und von ihm kommen dann kommentare wie: "du, ich weiss doch gar nicht was eine normale kindheit" ist, oder "koennen wir ganz arg viele spielsachen kaufen, weil ich hatte doch nie spielsachen als kind". ich hass seine eltern so sehr weil sie ihre kinder haben hungern lassen bis sie aus den muelleimern von fastfood ketten gegessen haben und ihnen kindheit geraubt haben.

Oh gott tucson chick, das hoert sich ja schrecklich an. Ist er noch in Kontakt zu seinen Eltern? Ich kann mir schon vorstellen, dass dein Mann Angst hat Kinder zu haben. Ich bin mir aber sicher, dass man - wenn man bisschen nach seiner Intuition geht - nicht viel falsch machen kann.
