As others have said, he has 6 months to enter the US. My husband got his visa mid August and spent the next month and a half finishing up his affairs in Egypt before coming to the US in October.

Congrats on your fast moving visa process!

Eliza and Mandy - good to see 2 more with UK loved ones.

You'll slow down some now but not much. For more info tune into the London Interviews 2006 thread in the Foreign Embassy and Consulate Forum - you can join other UK'ers currently awaiting interviews.

My husband and I processed our K1 through Vermont as well. Our total visa journey was 106 days. You can see from our timeline below that most of that time was spent after the petition went to London.

if so, it seems like our process is going through at lightning speed! i am almost not ready for him to be here so soon! it's fantastic, but it's nearly catching me unprepared! i'm pretty much assuming his interview date after sending in stuff from Packet 3 will still take a couple on months. if it doesn't, i've got a LOT of work to do in a little amount of time with getting rid of boxes out of our basement (where his 'pad' will be). B)

Your keeping him in the basement?????

it's a finished basement, haha. he'll be living better than ME.

Yeah, fast case is ok, fast is fine! I'm sure you will find enough time to prepare everything.

Because fast case is better than long case. You are lucky!

Good luck
