As others have said, he has 6 months to enter the US. My husband got his visa mid August and spent the next month and a half finishing up his affairs in Egypt before coming to the US in October.

You'll slow down some now but not much. For more info tune into the London Interviews 2006 thread in the Foreign Embassy and Consulate Forum - you can join other UK'ers currently awaiting interviews.

My husband and I processed our K1 through Vermont as well. Our total visa journey was 106 days. You can see from our timeline below that most of that time was spent after the petition went to London.

WOw you shoukd feel lucky others wait ages. But also remember once he has the visa he has 6 months to use it, so he does not HAVE to come there immediately. And as rebbeccajo said, it will slow down a bit from now.
