i'm assuming it's Packet 3. it came with a letter saying:

"Dear "Beneficiary":

This office is pleased to inform you that it can begin to process your fianceé visa case. Please read and follow all the enclosed instructions very carefully...

Chief Immigration Via Branch"

if so, it seems like our process is going through at lightning speed! i am almost not ready for him to be here so soon! it's fantastic, but it's nearly catching me unprepared! i'm pretty much assuming his interview date after sending in stuff from Packet 3 will still take a couple on months. if it doesn't, i've got a LOT of work to do in a little amount of time with getting rid of boxes out of our basement (where his 'pad' will be). B)

I'm in the same situation-- I need to find a new apartment (as I'd rather not get married and live with a roommate), and the speed with which the visa is being processed is amazing me! At this rate, he'll be here long befoire my current lease expires. But I'd far rather cope with this then have to wait and wait like a lot of people are doing.

And the visa is good for six months, so it's not as though he has to board a plane as soon as he gets it (although we'll be strongly tempted!)

Fast is normal, the UK isn't a difficult consulate if you have a straightforward case and you went through VSC, which speeds things right along. Congrats!

Well, you should be happy! He can get the visa and then wait a bit before going. He has 6 months to go there! It's better to have the visa in hands! Good luck and congrats!!!

I am hoping for a fast journey as well, so far so good, but I can't get an interview before July 20th, or else I'll have to reschedule, so I want a perfect journey for my schedule.
