Package arrived at USCIS 21 days ago but...

Hello fellow VJers,

Here are the facts:

My AOS/130/EAD/AP package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox on Feb. 12th (21 days ago, tracked via USPS) but I have not heard back from USCIS since then....nothing at all, no NOAs in the mail and the checks have not been cashed...

My question: what do I do?

A) sit and wait?

B) call the 800 number? (I hear they are really helpful...NOT)

C) schedule an infopass appt? (can I even do that without a receipt/case #?)

D) get ready to contact our congressman?

E) something else entirely?

Thanks for any input....I have been driving myself crazy in the past 3 weeks....

Give it atleast a month..9 more days to go. Also try calling 800 which they will ask you to wait for a longer period of time then i suggested of 30 days.

I dont know how you can track your case cause you dont have receipt number or anything...when i applied first and my package was there for more then a month no check cashed nothing...and i got my packet back saying insufficient fee, So i had to refile it again with proper fee that was back July 2007. Anyway so when i tried to track my case i had nothing then USPS tracking no which is not guaranteed. So yes i waited patiently for about 2 months.

I dont know if you can make a Info pass on this or even call your congressman . So wait someone with knowledge about this will post here.

I would say make an infopass, personally I've called the 1800 # just once and they are neither helpful or rude, they just read back @ you what appears on the screen. On the infopass appt. you get to talk to an officer. Bring the green USPS slip that was mailed back to you to prove that the package was delivered to the Chicago lock box.

They cashed mine yesterday...I'm so mad because they've sat on it a MONTH and ypou can BET the NOA dates will be for now, not a MONTH ago when they ACTUALLY received it.

They cashed mine yesterday...I'm so mad because they've sat on it a MONTH and ypou can BET the NOA dates will be for now, not a MONTH ago when they ACTUALLY received it.

Perhaps not. It took them over six weeks to cash my check & issue an NOA, but my priority date (NOA date) was August 1, not September 10.
