But his number is not on their website and they have not confirmed it's ready by email. Now my husband wants me to call the Embassy (which means I am awake at 2am using a calling card).

I am on pins and needles

So the woman at DOS was really helping you out!!! What was her name??? lol

The last woman who gave me the info name was Rose or Rose Marie.

I was on the verge of quitting my job yesterday! On a whim, I decided to call the DOS before talking to my boss.

If this is for real....and not a leg jerker, then all current plans are out the window. Not sure if I will still quit this job or not. Also, husband wants to travel in India for more than a month and then fly back to USA with me.

Oh God...reminds me of all my luggage/clothes in Iran my husband has to bring back with him.

Thank you sooo much!! Bassi and Zainab!!!

I appreciate your well wishes!

Thank you soo much Bassi & Zainab!!! I really do appreciate your best wishes!

Hi Tammy!!!

Believe it or not, I am frightened!!!

I did call the DOS, yesterday. Three times. The first lady told me to have my husband call the Embassy, the second said the case was still in AP and the third said "it looks like your husband's case is being reviewed by the head consulate officer at the Embassy."

I need to stay awake tonight and get some confirmation. I wish they would respond to my email with written confirmation.

I pray this is it!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
