My second time starting the daily thread. HAPPY TUESDAY PEEPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today my hubby and I are officially 30 weeks pregnant. That means I have only 7 or 8 weeks at the most left. I never carry until 40 weeks. I know our daughter will come the last week in April - maybe even the same day my hubby came to America almost a year agon on April 26th. WOO HOO!!!!!

Happy Tuesday everyone. I'm off for Morocco today. I'm already in San Fran, so I just have to take the shuttle from the hotel to the airport and then I'm homebound.

I hope everyone has a great week. I take off at 3:30. I'm so excited.

Whew! It's been a heckuva morning already... returned from 1 1/2 hrs in the dental chair w/ my mouth sliding off my face, a cramp in my neck from tilting back, but now the old silver/mercury fillings are gone and shiny new "tooth-colored" ones are in place. That's just 1/4 done... will do the rest over the next 3-4 months! Then, had a plumber/handyman come over to give an estimate on replacing my kitchen sink, faucet, some windows, and pouring concrete for a patio in the back yard. Now I'm off to work....

Whew! Ok so I'm SERIOUSLY contemplating going to Cairo soon. Maybe this month but most likely next month. I HATE to do this because what if he gets the visa but you know I've been saying this for 7 months and it's getting old. I called DOS today and the woman gave me the same line and I said do you think my going will help our case and she flat out said no, she said you already proved your relationship now they are verifying that what he put on the application is true. #######. Why they dont' have to do this verification process with EVERYONE is beyond me but I think it's just the ahole that interviewed him that made this happen but whatEVER.

Seriously I'm forgetting I'm married. I love him but I'll go through my day sometimes and I don't feel like there's anyone else in my life, even though there is, if that makes sense. It's feeling way too distant for me.

So...........I paid off a ton of bills and blew over $300 on a day of beauty and still have enough leftover from my tax return to make a trip. I even bit my tongue and apologized to my ex for calling him an effin' so and so the other day so that he can take the kids.

Now I just have to wait and sleep on this before pushing the "pay" button.

What's the weather like in Cairo in April? Is it as stifling hot as it is in July?

I had a cold or a sinus infection I don't know which. It hit me last night like a freight train coming on all of a sudden.

I got a letter from consular staff NM saying we're in AP. Is that possible without ever having an interview?

Anyways... No one will still answer our questions about what to do in regards to the military situation.

Seriously I'm forgetting I'm married. I love him but I'll go through my day sometimes and I don't feel like there's anyone else in my life, even though there is, if that makes sense. It's feeling way too distant for me.

Well isn't this weird!!! I mean I just posted that I"m going there and Cong. Tierney's office just called and faxed me a letter they received TODAY from the embassy. It's not THAT good but just a freaky coincidence I think. btw she said she's not too impressed by the letter because it's not even on embassy letterhead. I wonder if it's legit or not.....I mean it's not even addressed to the woman it's addressed to the Congressman. Anyhoo it says:

"I am writing in reference to your e-mail message dated December XX, 2007, concerning the non-immigrant (K3) visa case of Mr. Usama XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, the husband of your constituent, Ms. Bridget XXXX XXXX, case number XXXXXXX.

Mr. XXXXX's case is still undergoing required administrative processing. We will try to expedite the process on his case. As soon as the processing is complete, we will contact Mr. XXX to notify him of the next step in his case."

Then it goes on to say if she needs further help, blah blah blah.

What's weird is when I called DOS she did say "they haven't finished the review yet", so now my mind is going in all directions. At least I'm hopeful that the Consul General (who wrote the letter) is the one saying they'll expedite the case. Maybe he read the letter from my Rheumatologist and maybe Sen. Kennedy's office did some good too?

So I take back what I said and think that anyone over 6 months should contact their reps since apparently it at least makes them aware of what's going on.
