Schlessinger received her certification in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from the University of Southern California (USC) and lectured at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), the University of California, Irvine, and Pepperdine University. It should be noted, however, that as of January 11, 2008, a search of the roster of professionals licensed by the Board of Behavioral Science Examiners to practice Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, does not show her to be one so licensed.

She is a total fake. She even goes as far as being a playing both roles, Caller and advisior. at the same time.

Actually he gave it up, aka let it lapse, as he no longer has a private practice.

Actually, because he has not completed the conditions imposed by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists and he is not licensed to practice psychology any state. It wasn't something he decided to do, it was enforced.

Of course he can't practice psychiatry. He never could. He's a psychologist, which means he has a Ph.D., Psy.D. or even an M.S.W. Psychiatrists have an M.D. The easiest way to remember the difference between the two is that psychiatrists are medical doctors and can prescribe medication, whereas psychologists (with the exception of Louisiana and New Mexico) are not legally licensed to do so.

Yeah, I know the difference. My head's foggy with 'flu so it was a slip, that's all.

Never seizes to amaze me when people hate this guy or Oprah yet highly value clowns like John Stewart or some nut job feminist liberals warped views.
