The letter of intent, G325A, and the passport photos arrived today. Now I can put it all together to send in.....but.

The passport photo has her thumbprint on the back and she signed rather than printed her name on the back. Is it ok if I go ahead and print her name on the back? Is this even necessary?

Also (I already know the answer to this one) she signed the letter of intent and G325A at the top. I know this is unacceptable but for the sake of saving time could I have her sign the papers properly and scan them and send them VIA email or are we going to have to send this in the mail again?

Thanks in advance for the obvious

You can print her name at the back of her passport photos. Make sure her signature didn't mark on the front or there's a chance that the photo will be rejected. It is always better to use pencil. As for the G-325a, I believe you will need original forms, with original signatures. There were cases where the G-325a was rejected because it didn't look original even though it was, in fact, the originally signed forms. Since she may have to send you everything again, might as well include a copy of her birth certificate. It won't hurt if she will write a new letter of intent to marry and send it along as well.

Good luck!

I understand your desire to save time. But you will only be procrastinating more time if USCIS return the docs because the instructions were not correctly followed. I suggest that you ask your fiancee to send another set of documents, correctly and properly done as per instruction from USCIS. She can send the docs to you by express mail (from the post office which is much cheaper). I think it only takes 3 working days for the mail to arrive at your doorstep. Ask her to inquire the fastest mailing service from her local post office.

Good luck and God bless!
