Hi everyone,

I have my interview for permanent residency next week, and in the Notice of Action that they sent me they said that I needed a certified english translation for each foreign document and that I need my birth certificate. So my question is this...my birth certificate is in Spanish and I already sent them a translation twice (once for my I129F and once for my I485) so do i need to bring another translation again?? because they're pretty pricey...and they should already have one of my translations in my I-485 package

My wife's birth certificate was in French and she translated it herself and USCIS never had a problem with that. They SHOULD have it in your file, but its better to be safe than sorry.

Yes you can translate it yourself. Just put this text with the translation and fill the blanks (you can find it on the USCIS website)

I translated my own birth certificate and have had no RFE:
