I have a couple of questions. I just received the instruction package from NVC which includes the DS-230 and the barcode sheet. Will this be the last package I receive before I get the package with the interview date? Is the"interview date" package the one the medical instructions are in? Also, in the "what happens next" part of the package, they want me to contact my husband to ensure the documents are completed and returned to the NVC as directed. He was directed to send them to Missouri, and not the NVC. Do they go to Missouri first and then forwarded to the NVC? Thanks!!

Yes this is the last that you will recieve from NVC. Once the DS-230 and the I-864 from your husband are entered into the system and your case is complete, it will be forwarded to the embassy. They will then send out a package with instructions for medical etc

As for your husband being directed to forward documents to Missouri. Im a little confused with this part of your post. Is he confusing this with the I-129F?

I just spoke with my husband, and he did send to NVC. Only the payment was sent to Missouri. I'm glad about that. I was getting a bit worried.

How do you find out what's happening with your case without having to call all the time? I read alot about cases being "touched". How do you know when your case has been touched? Can it be emailed to me??

Thanks again. :)

With NVC you can only call the automated response line. The term touched is used when the petition is at service center. You are beyond that stage.
