Do you think now that my name is on the account, I can ask for my name to be on the bill, or will my husband have to do that?

you should be able to do it. being on the account allows you to make the decisions on the account.

Thanks. I tried to call but they said my husband would have to call as only one person can make decisions on the account.

Let me know if you think the following is ok.

So far the evidence we have to take to the interview is:

  1. Appointment Letter for Interview
  2. NOA for Biometrics, I-485 and I-130
  3. Copies of everything we filed for I-485 and I-130 (plus all evidence)
  4. I-864 affadivit of support (updated)
  5. G-325A Biographic Information (heard of people having to re-fill this out)
  6. Copy and original of my Passport (foreigner) and I-94
  7. Birth Certificate for my husband (USC)
  8. Marriage Ceritificate
  9. Husband's divorce papers
  10. Income Tax Filing 2004-2006 (Currently filing Jointly for 2007 and should hopefully have it back by time of interview)
  11. My husband is self-employed but does steady contract work for one company which he can get a letter from, detailing how much he earns at least a month from them.
  12. Apartment rental agreement showing both our name on it
  13. Sprint statements showing family plan with both our phone numbers on them
  14. Joint bank statements with both our names on them
  15. Joint personal loan with both our names on the contract
  16. Car rental agreement with my name and a part that says Spouse ok, plus a print out from Enterprise with both our information on it
  17. Cards, letters and envelopes addressed to both of us
  18. Copy of an Agreement we signed with a realtor for us looking for a house
  19. Alot of Pictures (from our civil service and our life together since we met)
  20. Copy of ceremony/reception contract for our family wedding for August
  21. 2 or 3 Written affidavits from family and friends
  22. We also have junk mail and letters from the IRS that come individually to us at the same address

Seems pretty good to me, I have everthing in my office but we are going to start organizing everything until 1 week before the interview (we have it on the same day mate). So far, I've got our employment verification letter, our last pay stubs, we have printed out our Income Tax '07, asked my co-sponsor for a copy of his, added my wife to my credit card, she added me to our savings account and I've received a notarized letter from my wife's uncle stating that we rent and live in his house and since we are family there wasn't any need to change the name on the utilities' bills. Also, we are bringing the invitation printed in English and Spanish for our religions wedding held on 12/29/07, pics of travels, some postcards I sent on '06 when we were dating while I was away in Europe and plane and train tickets to prove our travels together. Also we have pretty much everything u mention above, also we are bringing my wife's new passport with her new last name (she is the US Citizen).

I'm asking the same do you think we are missing something people?

thanks again and good luck to both of us on the 17th

Thanks for your response. Yours seems good too. What time is your interview at? Ours is at 8.30am, so I doubt we'll sleep much the night before.

Since my husband is self-employed we have bank statements, contracts and copies of checks instead of actual paystubs. We don't have any credit cards to add each other to. We have a couple of cards/letters that we sent each other while I was back in the UK to also show with pics.

Good luck to us both and everyone else with upcoming interviews :)
