Tom needs to study!!! He hasn't in weeks, and I asked him the three branches of government yesterday, and he didn't remember (he used to know that).

Hi Tammi,

What comes after the Biometrics?...looks like you guys are alrady studying for the interview so I suppose its the interview right?....Do you happen to know the usual wait time before you get the interview after doing a biometric?...

Yeah, the interview is next. I don't know if there is a "usual" wait time. Each local office is different. Someone from Cleveland on here applied in Nov., and had their interview in March.

I checked my case online and its still sitting at the Vermont Service Center..

I was curious where does the letter for the Biometics come from.. the local Center ? Do they even

send letters for that appointment ?

I thought I would had that by now at least..

The NOA1 letter and the biometrics letter (yes they send a letter from that) both came from NSC for us.

Your timeline seem a little bit confusing...Did you receive your NOA1 a day after they got your application?...

Good luck with the Biometrics...

I still haven't heard anything yet..not even NOA1...Though my check was cashed 3 days after yours,and sent it to the NSC/Portland,OR DO.

No 6 days later... Sorry if I confused you... I guess I was confused how to write the timeline.

So, you have not gotten a letter get that they received your application ? I think you should have gotten that by now ?

Hi just wanted to add my info on here. I am filing under military service... But it seems that its really not speeding up anything at this point.. But I guess only time will tell....

I think you can filter it by office. It gives you a little bit of an idea how long it took other people.

What worries me is that some of the July/August people that filled have not had interviews yet..never mind their checks are cashed.. But that could be because of that big rush of applications they received.

Hope I dont have to wait 365 days :)

03/18/2008: Texas Service Center received my application (per the USPS return receipt)

03/18/2008: Priority Date

03/18/2008: Check Deposit Date

03/19/2008: Check Cleared by my Bank

03/26/2008: I-797C- Notice of Action mailed - "You should expect to be notified within 210 days of this notice"

03/26/2008: I-797C- Notice of Action mailed - Biometrics Appointment scheduled

04/15/2008: Biometrics Appointment @ 0900 CST in San Antonio

XX/XX/2008: FBI sent fingerprinting results back to USCIS

XX/XX/2008: I-797C- Notice of Action mailed - Interview scheduled

XX/XX/2008: Interview

XX/XX/2008: I-797C- Notice of Action mailed - Oath Ceremony scheduled
