Thank you all so much for all of these lovely words. :luv:

I basically just wanted to put across the message that the immigration struggle and long distance and being apart all pays off in the long run. :yes: Rick and I were in a long distance relationship for three long years because we had other committments and also needed to finalize our divorces etc. It was really hard on our hearts and emotions for a long time. But oh my it was definitely worth it. I have never been in love nor been loved in return like this in my life. And I am no spring chicken nor is he. We are just glad that we found each other so we can now spend what time we have left on this earth together. :wub:

As for how tall Rick is compared to me...lol....

I was sitting on the stone wall in the pic and he was standing in front of me hehehe. I know that pic makes him look like Paul Bunyan. :lol: He still is 7 or 8 inches taller than 5 feet 2 shortass me, tho. And as Silvain said, Rick is my my big ole teddy bear. (L)

* Charity - Yes, that pic was taken on Skyline Drive, which is part of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's a mere 20 minute drive from our house, we actually look up at the Blue Ridge Parkway from our house. We know how lucky we are, trust me. (F)
