That is really hard. This is why I didn't let myself get too excited until I actually saw the visa. Perhaps they finished up and one of the security checks had expired, so they have to run it again. Silly system, but it just seems to me that if they were ready to issue the visa then this is merely a bump in the road, and will be taken care of soon.

I think it is a good idea to go visit your sweety. This will give your heart a boost and give you something to look forward too. A year after my husbands denial I went to visit because we were both missing each other so much, and so depressed because with a returned petition you have no guidelines that they follow. While I was there we checked my email and low and behold there was an email from the USCIS saying that our I-130 had been reaffirmed. Being together when we got that news was perfect. We held each other and cryed. Perhaps this can happen for you too and you can bring him home with you.

don't forget that it is ok to feel sad and heartbroken even if ur taking pills to help with nerves. This is a real situation and a person SHOULD feel sad. Go ahead and cry it out and hopefully you two will be reunited real soon.

***UPDATE***

So I got balls today and called DOS...A guy named Chris answered. He was really loud and scared me, I almost hung up in his face...but i just asked him about the case and got the usual...blah blah...So then I told him--they told us the visa was approved then they took it back, please tell me what is going on, does this happen alot. His voice totally changed and he said this is what happened..."when the embassy was processing the visa....one of the security clearances has expired b/c your case has been going on for a while so it is just they have to send it back and get an updated and unexpired clearance for the one that had expired"

I just sat there...and i finally managed a "omg...thankyou so much...i was so scared"...hehe...

Thanks CHRIS....he rocks!!!

Inshallah...soon soon...it will be done again

Thanks guys for being there for me....

Haha!

Well, it is a nice thought!

Glad you are feeling better, and i hope your case starts moving again fast! The fact that you got some info out of DOS seems like a positive sign. Much luck to you both!

Have a good weekend, (F)(F)
