my next door cubbie mate is bummin'. Her husband works at a casino and lives there 6 days a week and is with her for 1 day a week. he just called to say he is going to change his schedule and be home 2 days a week now. She's not too happy 'cause she "has things to do I can't just sit around and talk to him all day long!"

Didn't you want to slap her? Some of us would give anything to do that !

I'm locked up till my body settles down and just accepts the fact that changes are gonna happen I started oral meds yesterday. IF that keeps things calmed down I MIGHT get to escape Friday-ish I need 24 hours without sounding the alarms.

Early this morning it is always good to start out my day before anything else gets clouded in my mind and talk to God and offer up prayers. During my prayer, God had placed it upon my heart to pray specifically throughout the day for Aj1 and Cairobound. Anyone wish to agree with me for these two ?

yes, definately we must keep them in our prayers, many times the notions we get are for real reasons. Nagi, thank you again, it is true, if you are away from God even for a few, the the devil will get you, and IS a liar. You really hit the spot, I needed to hear that very much. Every negative thought we get is due to the evil whispers, God tests us to see how much we will listen. Best thing to do is pray and come here and get support from those who really understand

lol. I had fish and smashed cauliflower for dinner but now that I think of it I had like 1/4 cup of almonds right before bed. No more nuts for me after dinner!!!

The nuts made ya nuts hahahaha

I had dreams of being murdered and failing in life on saturday...oh I know maybe our husbands can say whats driving us cuckoo

It is always been my belief that if you speak something negitive, you are releasing it out into the atmosphere, where the devil rules . He is the prince of the air, right? And crafty he is! The minute you open your eyes in the morning, there he is laying in wait to put bad things into your head. So, as a rule, I wake up thanking God for another day and then sleepy headedly start my prayers. I noticed if I fail to do this, my day is shot. I end up an emotional mess, full of worry and what-if's.

Doubt is not having faith, and it is faith that pleases God.

I guess the Monday thread is as good a place to put this as any.....

Ya'll know I went to Florida on vacation, the trip was to meet a .....sigh... man. I had strong feelings that he was 'the one', but I fought it very hard. So hard, that when I got to Florida, I went a different direction just to think longer. I reached out to Jenn and Noura and Amal. I cried. I know they heard the pain in my voice. That pain they heard, was the last memories of Mohammed that I was clinging to. I felt if I met another, that it would be betraying the love I had for him for 5 years.

I turned the car around and went to him. We had 3 wonderful days to get to know each other and I came home to think. We have been apart now for a week and we talk several times a day, about life, the future and ...everything. I was scared to be alone and scared to not be alone. I want to hold the remote, I want someone else to hold the remote. And...I want it to be Ibrahim.

I'm not expecting any parades or atta-girls from anyone here. In fact, I am prepared to answer just about anything you want to ask. I just wanted to get him out in the open and not hide him in the corner like I was trying to do. He's a good man, a gentle man that loves to laugh and read. And....he will be laughing and reading in Illinois soon. I so have to clean. So...back to Monday..how's yours going?

I spoke with Waleed briefly today. He will be the last to be deployed. He may get out next Thursday for 24hrs. Other than that I don't know much. It's midterms this week and I go on spring break the following week. I'll try to check in again before I go.
