Aymerlu I pray that he will recieve help. Is he on any type of illegal drugs? That would be something I would laso have checked because of the behavior that is why I am asking. I know how bad the system is for the youth. They just seem to wait until they really blow it so they can justlock them up for awhile and then do nothing else. NO HELP. I will keep your family uplifted in prayer.

I will also pray for those that are ill and going through a long process. I pray for everyone here in my daily prayers but will say some extra prayers.

That is so very kind of you, a1angied. And we will expect results from all of our prayers, amen?

Good afternoon Melinda.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

My family had a hell of a scare last night. Lets see how I can condense this. My step-nephew, sister in laws 16 yo son is nothing but trouble. I've known him she he was 7 and he's always been trouble. I've tried very hard to show love to him, but has pushed me and everyone else away. He stole a bunch of CD's from Best Buy back in the fall and was put in juvinille detention for a couple months. He has repeatedly stole from my brother, pawned his mothers jewelry, broke into his own home while he should be at school and has stole from my parents. I beleive I almost caught him breaking into my place last summer. We pulled up and he was just "sitting" in my front yard. My brother and sister-in-law don't want him around. They have tried everything for him and nothing helps. Well, he got out of JV a few weeks ago and it has been pure hell for everyone since then. He goes AWOL for a few days, no one knows where he is then he'll just show up, hasn't taken a shower for days adn acts like all is well.

I got a call from my parents about 6 am this morning. No one was wanting to upset me, but this kid wrapped my 3 yr old nephew in a blanket at 2 am and told my 6 yr old nephew he was taking him to the ER because he was having an asthma attack and "not to tell his dad." Note, it was storming like mad here at that time. My nephew runs upstairs to tell my brother which was like "go back to bed" but my nephew was insistant he listen. So from 2am to 8-9ish the cops were talking to neighbors and hospitals. We do not know how, but he did get to the hospital, of course he was not having asthma problems and get this, cops won't do a darn thing because "he thought his brother was in trouble!" WTH???? My sister in law is taking him to a mental eval later as he still feels he did nothing wrong. I feel the system is just pushing him through till he's 18, then they can do more to him. My brother does not want him back in his house point blank.

I'm just so thankful to have my nephew back safe.

I just don't know what's wrong with our system here. What else do the authorities want him to do before they do anything? That is what I'm really afraid of. Hubby says he needs to be shipped to Egypt for a week and see what they do to people who pull this ####### there.

why did your brother say go back to bed? Is the 3 yr old his son? Sounds like the nephew is on drugs maybe. One of my sisters has been in and out of rehab her whole life. She actually just called me an hour ago totally wasted. She's 49 years old!!!! It's really exhausting to have someone like this in your family. I think you need to put it out of your head and focus on your own immediate family because the stress won't do you or your lil bambino any good at all.

Morning all.

Wow it's been a busy monday already. Sorry to hear about your situation Amerylu. I agree that some of the laws we have are total nonsense.

Cairo and Aj1...praying for you.

Moody: Nice to see you again.

Jenn: saw something about actuarial on the net and thought of you :P

Bridget: No traveling for you! You get way out of control when you leave town.

This morning I got Omar off to his new job in his new car, then helped my son get going for his first day of clinical (taking blood from real patients!). He has never had an 8hr job so he had to learn how we pack a lunch.....Weds I get to do my first session of medical assisting/patient care at the new job so lots of excitement in our home

Now where are the rest of the troops???

I'm sure it was one of those things like "daddy I need a drink" and you just tell your kid to go back to bed. I know I've done that numerous times myself. Yes, the 3 yo is my brothers son, the 16 yo his step son. Yeah, I've already been hit with some night night something something something to calm me down.

Monday morning and the start of my 4 day work week WOOHOOO.

Even though I was trying to do laundry, I had a good time at the party last night.

I got 1 whole basket o stuff folded! 1 load in the dryer, and 1 load in the previously emptied basket eagerly waiting for me to get home so I can fold them and proceed forth. ugg i hate laundry. some words of advice...don't try to fold laundry while watching mystery diagnosis on the tele and trying to keep up with VJ slumber parties. It doesn't go over very well. I did manage to keep the hookah going! ohhhhhhhhh yeahhhhhhhhhh

I'm battling a runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, etc etc but i don't wanna give in and take medications. I refuse to allow myself to have allergies so this better clear up really soon OR ELSE!

Hope everybody has a super fantastic day!

Oh I can't stand Kristy Joe! I'm not a big fan of Daisy's either. What's with her ginormous lips? I can't take the way she talks.

My dream had Kristy Joe from Rock of Love in it. I was trying to rescue her from her abusive BF.

Did you see Daisy and her alien lips destroy the national anthem?

Amal, are you getting the horrible weather in Houston yet? it's heading our way and looks like it's going to be pretty severe thunder storms, high winds and possible tornado watches. I just canceled my classes for tonight b/c it should be hitting right during that time :(

my next door cubbie mate is bummin'. Her husband works at a casino and lives there 6 days a week and is with her for 1 day a week. he just called to say he is going to change his schedule and be home 2 days a week now. She's not too happy 'cause she "has things to do I can't just sit around and talk to him all day long!"
