I don’t think Obama gets to shrug this one off. Anyone involved in politics, particularly in the Chicago area, knows who William Ayres and Bernadette Dohrn are and agreeing to appear with them at events is a tacit endorsement of their radical politics.

If that logic held any water, that would mean that Obama endorses the views of any person he's ever co-attended a public event with!! Completely absurd...

"In 2001, after serving together on the board, Obama accepted a $200 campaign contribution from Ayres."

"Then in 2002, The Center for Public Intellectuals, an organization whose mission is to “create a more engaged civil society, hosted a panel called “Intellectuals in Times of Crisis”. Ayres and Obama spoke on the panel together."

"Again in 2005, the two met to give testimonials at the farewell dinner for Rashid Khalidi, who worked on behalf of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, a State Department declared terror group."

Are these fabrications by anti-Obama people?

They must have had a long conversation about it too.

Ayres: "Hey Obama, I'd like to contribute $200 to your campaign. I'm a terrorist and I like where you stand on national security."

Obama: "My dear friend, I'd love to accept your generous contribution but I can't. You are a terrorist and it would look bad. But....but....I really need the $200. Ah, to hell with it, just give me the money!"

I'm just wondering why would Obama give a testimonial with a known domestic terrorist, for someone like Rashid Khalidi, a man who Princeton University wouldn't hire because of his political agenda.
