Living in the US, I'm used our addresses here, but my fiancée has an address like this (not posting the real address...adjusting for privacy ;) )

Blah Blah Blah, Alameda#, casa #, Ipis, Guadalupe, San Jose, Costa Rica

Now I can figure out what to do with the San Jose and the Costa Rica part. I assume I just put the "Blah Blah Blah, Alameda#, casa #, Ipis, Guadalupe" as the address? Do I put the casa # as the apartment number?

When I mail her packages via UPS, i just put the "Blah Blah Blah, Alameda#, casa #, Ipis, Guadalupe" as the whole address and since it doesn't all fit, I put the "Ipis, Guadalupe" on the second line of the address. Somehow, magically, all my packages get to her, but this is a bit more important than what I mail her and I want to make sure I get it right. I'm going to have space problems fitting "Blah Blah Blah, Alameda#, casa #, Ipis, Guadalupe" on the I-129F form and probably any other forms we need to fill out when typing into the forms.

I'm so confused on this. Hopefully someone here has dealt with an address similar to this and can help me. :)

Thanks in advance,

Joshua

My filipina fiancée has a similar weird address. On the I-129F I just wrote See Attached and wrote the whole address on a separate paper. Haven't had any problems during the first part of the process.

I am in Dominican Republic, here address are like in Costa Rica. You have to write same way in the application form, you can write it on hand with a black pen. If you don´t write her full address the Consulate in her country won´t be able to contact her for sending the packet 3 when you get the approval.

In general address are different than in US. Good Luck

I had some of the same problems. There is no zip codes, and no addresses are exact, they are like 200 meters south of the church with green garage door. I used the same address that is used when receiving electric or whatever bills. It made it a little better. Also you can adjust the cells of the forms online with adobe. On the top of the form you have a tab that says forms and it drops down and you have an option for "edit fillable". This is where you can go to adjust the cells.

I hope this helps.........................if not? Let me know. I'll try more....

Good luck!!

My filipina fiancée has a similar weird address. On the I-129F I just wrote See Attached and wrote the whole address on a separate paper. Haven't had any problems during the first part of the process.

So I just put in the field "See Attached" and then staple a second sheet of paper with the address on it to the I-129F and any other forms that need the address?

Claudeth had a strange one too. The actually address was the family named compound. I have always wondered how anyone found that place.

Yeah thats what I did. On the attached page I titled it "I-129F Supplement" and put

Part B, Question 2, Alien Fiancée's Address

Number and Street - Blah Blah Blah

Town or City - I put that here too because the city wouldn't fit.

Part B, Question 15, Your Alien Fiancée's Adress Abroad

Number and Street - Blah Blah Blah

Town or City - Blah Blah Blah

On the G-325A there weren't multiple address to use so instead of attaching another page I just continued the address on the second and third line. No RFE for that but I don't know if it could cause one.

Also don't staple it, I think I paper clipped mine.

Yeah, it's just strange to us. When I first asked my fiancée for her address so I could mail her Christmas present to her, I just couldn't wrap my head around how that address was actually going to work. To her, it was perfectly normal. :D

We are also in the process for a K-1 from Costa Rica. Ask your fiancee for the exact address she uses for her mail.

My fiancee's address is the same "200 meters south of some road, Desamparados, San Jose, Costa Rica". It was very long, too long to fit in the address field on the first page of the I-129F form.

What I did is this... in the address box I wrote (please see supplement #1)

Then I included a separate typed 1 page letter (write I-129F Supplement #1 on top in big letters) in which I explained that the address system in Costa Rica is different than the U.S. There wasn't enough space, so I wrote out

Tip: Whenever you send anything to CR by mail or when you write her address on any forms, always include a phone number. The postal service will call to get directions if they can't find her place. I always do this. For example,

Name

200 m south of Main Road

Desamparados

San Jose, Costa Rica

870-5025

Good luck.

btw, You can contact me directly by PM or email if you need help with anything Costa Rican.

Awesome, thanks for the info. When we were filling out the g-325a she gave me an address like the 200 meters south blah blah for her work. I was like...wow.

I'll be sure to shoot any CR questions I have your way. :)

Thanks again!
