I have a feeling she's talking about (I've Had) the Time of My Life with Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes.

i have a strong dislike for that song from the movie, Dirty Dancing.. I can't think of the name of it right now though....

hungry eyes - eric carmen?

I agree except for "Time After Time." Always liked that one.

Cindy Lauper.."True Colors". (well, any of her songs, really)

yes, that is the one... Time of my life ....

Informer by Snow.

There lots more but that's the first song that came to my mind when reading this thread.

OMG that is truly on my Top 10 list of Most Annoyyyyyyyyingggggg Everrrrr. The only thing I could ever stand Snow in was "Anything For You" -- but that had Buju, Beenie, Nadine, and so many others to carry the tune.

Seasons in the Sun - Terry Jacks

Co-signed !!!!! That's another one on my list.

May I also humbly nominate "Muskrat Love" -- eeeeeeeeeeyewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

How about "Ay, Bay Bay!" by Hurricane Chris???

I love that song, but my 50 yr. old cousin hated it. Definite generation gap for ya. The lyrics made me laugh, but because of his age, he couldn't follow what Hurricane Chris was saying.

When I Holler Ay Bay Bay

I Finna Get My Groove On

Its So Hot Up In Da Club

Dat I Ain't Got No Shoes On

Im Holdin' Up A Big Stack And Dem

Hundreds In A Rubba Band

Girl Don't Ask Me For No Cash

Cause Im Not Dat Other Man

Everybody Trippin' Cause Im Limpin'

When Im Walkin' And Im Pimpin' When Im Talkin'

I Don't Trick On Chick Dats Talkin'

Dem Boyz In Da Back Dey Be Rollin'up Dey Doughdy

Then Dey Blow It Till Dey Chokin'

Dats Wat Godly Came Out

When I See A Bad Chik Im Hollerin Out(Ay Bay Bay)

I Hope Yall Ain't Wit Ya Boyfriendz

Cause I Don't Care Wat Dey Say

And I Don't Care Wat He Say Or She Say

Im In Da Dj Booth Takin' Pictures Wit Da Dj

You Wanna Know What We Say

Seasons in the Sun - Terry Jacks

It's a 1970's tune that got way too much airplay. Whenever I hear it, it reminds me of fingernails across a blackboard.

I don't much care for the "Areeba, Areeba" Mexican acordian music the mojados in Houston love to blare out their windows at several hundred decibles. Ditto with ©rap music. More fingernails across the chalkboard.

Just because people like their music doesn't mean everyone else does. One person's music is another's noise pollution. Be considerate!

Seasons in the Sun and Feelings have to be two of the worst songs from the 70's.

what's wrong with trance or any other electronica genre?

Electronica is all about the future.

In the 80s, I listened to Hardcore, Crossover/Metal then Industrial & Experimental

In the 90s, I listened to more Industrial, then House & Techno.

IN the mid 90s, Goa Trance, Ambient, Drum & Bass, Gabber

In the 2000s, all of the above + Reggaeton, Cumbias, Salsa...I try to keep an open mind.

I think it's good to keep in mind that not all music has to be deep and meaningful. I can't stand electronic music, but I do like hip hop. Sometimes you just want to have fun and let loose. I think everyone has their guilty pleasure music.
