It is pretty likely - The last I heard, JFK is still pretty routinely stamping K1 entrant's passports with the Temporary EAD. It is of course temporary (valid until the I-94 expires) so its not terribly useful though.

So essentially it is only helpful for 3months then after that if you haven't gotten it renewed you can't work right? Also, is there a fee when they stamp it?

Yes - not only that but with such a short validity date, many employers shy away from hiring potentially short-term employees (not all, but many). No fee.

I agree. After the temporary authority your fiance has to apply again for another permit. When he finally arrives here, you guys will be busy preparing for the wedding, and spend time together, maybe concentrate on that, after all, the purpose of the visa is to marry within 90 days from entry so concentrate on that. I am sure he will find work when the EAD will be issued after marriage and AOS. So, just relax and enjoy your time together after his entry, get married, still enjoy each other together during the AOS process then . . .work :)

Just our opinion.

I agree with this opinion 100%

Take time to realize the core purpose of your visa and after that everything will fall on the right place. Good luck and God bless!
