good morning

last week i was reading about USA will give some million dollars to Palestine people as AID

then i was wondering how ??? the USA just asked Egypt to shut down the borders between Palestine and Egypt and it was the only way to give food,gas,medicine...... to Palestine

it was like you have million dollars and you live in the desert so what would you do with the money??!!!!!

after a while the USA sent battleship close to Lebanon so i was wondering will the USA attack Iran ??? in the same week Israel start to attack Palestine and they says we gonna to make it bigger than the holocaust

so then i realize why the USA sent that ship for sure to help Israel to attack the poor Palestine people or to attack hazeb ALLH in Lebanon if they try to defend Palestine

so the USA gave Palestine people some money and the same time they support Israel to kill the poor Palestine people

and as you all know all the Arab presidents care about 2 thing money and their chairs

so they have no problem with that

to support Palestine people the Arab singers made a song there are about 100 singers from all the Arab countries sing in that song

watch it and see whats going on in Palestine :crying::crying:

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

For those of you who haven't heard, Israeli Offensive Forces have slaughtered more than 77 people in Gaza since Wednesday, more than half of them civilians, and including at least 20 children.

On Friday, speaking to Israeli army radio, Israel's Deputy Defense Minister threatened Gaza with (and I quote directly) "a Holocaust."

Of course, incitement to genocide is a punishable crime under the international Genocide Convention, adopted in 1948 after the Nazi holocaust.

"The 8 Stages of Genocide," written by Greg Stanton, President of Genocide Watch, sets out a number of warning signs of an impending genocide, which include "dehumanization" of potential victim groups and preparation, whereby potential victims "are often segregated into ghettoes, deported into concentration camps, or confined to a famine-struck region and starved."

http://www.genocidewatch.org/aboutgenocide...ofgenocide.html

The Deputy Defense Minister's Holocaust threat (however much Israeli officials and apologists contort themselves into amusing positions trying to qualify it) follows a consistent pattern of warmongering statements and actions by Israeli officials:

* Israel has attempted to isolate the population of Gaza, deliberately restricting essential supplies such as food, medicines and energy (a policy which has been condemned by international officials as illegal collective punishment.)

* Israeli political and religious leaders consistently make dehumanizing statements aimed at Palestinians.

But while Israeli leaders escalate the violence and threats, other top officials (as well as the vast majority of the Israeli public) support direct talks with Hamas to achieve a mutual ceasefire, something Hamas has repeatedly offered for months.

Knesset Member Yossi Beilin, leader of the left-Zionist Meretz-Yahad party, called for an agreed ceasefire with Hamas -- noting the fact that "there have been at least two requests from Hamas, via a third party, to accept a cease-fire."

Israel's public security minister Avi Dichter, while on a visit to Sderot, criticized Israel's military escalation -- saying, "Whoever talks about entering and occupying the Gaza Strip, these are populist ideas which I don't connect to, and in my opinion, no intelligent person does either."

Even the former head of Israel's Mossad intelligence agency, Efraim Halevy, repeated the calls for Israel and the U.S. to negotiate a ceasefire with Hamas. He dismissed all the lurid rhetoric (some of it repeated on this site) about Iran's "influence" and "al Qaeda," stating that "Hamas is not al Qaeda," and "is not subservient to Tehran."

And the Israeli people want to talk. According to a recent Tel Aviv poll quoted in Haaretz, 64% of Israelis want their government must hold direct talks with the Hamas government in Gaza, to negotiate a cease-fire and the release of captive soldier Gilad Shalit." Even half of the supporters of the right-wing Likud party, and large majorities of the Kadima and Labor parties also agreed that the Israeli government should talk to Hamas. Only 28% percent of Israelis said they were "oppposed" to the idea.

The question remains -- when the vast majority of Israelis and Palestinians, some senior Israeli officials, and Hamas leaders are all talking about a ceasefire -- why does the Israeli government refuse to accept one and the U.S. refuses to call for one ?

Unfortunately, too many Americans are blind to the reality of the situation, due to relentlessly pro-Zionist media coverage in the U.S. The years of brainwashing by Israeli propaganda have a lot of sheeple believing that Israel is some kind of victim.

I see you edited your comment to remove the part about the border which I was about to respond to.

Anyway, I was going to tell you that the Gaza-Egypt border was actually sealed in 2005, after Israel's "disengagement" from the Strip.

Israel demanded and got a U.S.-brokered security arrangement between Tel Aviv and the West Bank-based Palestinian Authority (Abbas' contingent) which would regulate the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing. The agreement, to which Cairo is *not* a signatory, mandates the presence of European observers at Rafah to monitor all movement in and out of the territory, and allows for constant surveillance of the crossing by Israel through an elaborate system of security cameras.

However, these mandated EU observers left last June, just days before Hamas took over control of the Gaza Strip. They have not returned since, completely paralyzing all cross-border traffic.

That would be the Catch-22.

Before Hamas' breach of the border for several days in January, which allowed Gazans to buy much-needed supplies in nearby Egyptian towns, Cairo had for the most part kept the Rafah crossing sealed -- in deference to the Israel-Palestinian Authority border understanding.

However, critics of the deal say it relegates Egypt to the role of doorkeeper and makes Cairo complicit in Israel's siege of the territory.

Probably not wise to launch rockets into Israel from civilian neighborhoods within Gaza...as this always leads to a return strike from Israel which is more severe than the original attack from Hamas. Then try to gain sympathy from world opinion which never works also....but what can you expect from a govt (if you want to call them that as they are not recognized) that cant even provide electricity or provide trash pickup to their residents much less launch an offensive against Israel to achieve their state political objectives.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

As usual, you are completely clueless, and merely parrot the talking-points you've had pounded into your head by years of Israeli propaganda. Do you ever read anything actually resembling history ?

Gaza is one of the most densely populated areas in the world. There *is* no place "away from civilian neighborhoods."

I wonder how you'd see it if 1.4 million Israeli Jews were forcibly packed into a ghetto in and around Tel Aviv, about 25 miles long and varying between 4 and 7.5 miles wide, while their former homes and property are appropriated at gunpoint. These people have a fortified wall erected around them, trapping them inside. The world's 4th best-equipped army surrounds them, controlling everything that goes in or out.

Meanwhile, this army's tanks fire heavy shells into the packed area, and its F-16s and Apache helicopters drop missiles onto buildings in hopes of blowing up some of the Jews' leaders who don't want to accept this situation. Many civilians are killed -- far more civilians than "militants."

This army's government then decides to escalate the siege, actually cutting off food, medicine and energy from reaching the residents inside. The residents of this ghetto have nowhere to go for help -- they are trapped like fish in a barrel.

And then, when a few of these desperate residents try to fight back with small arms and homemade pipe bombs, the world says "Oh. Look at the terrorists hiding behind civilians."

Oh wait. I don't wonder how you'd see it. I already know.

How do you receive Radio Hamas???...I cant get it.

My US newspapers dont say anything along these lines nor the US TV broadcasts that I receive.

I dont speak Arabic, Hebrew or any other language that may be spoken in that part of the world. I have absolutely no interest in learning anything from the propaganda that originates from the middle east or Israel. But I manage to stay pretty much in tune as to what is happening in the world.

ETA:

Actually from the conditions that you describe would be more of a reason to get along with the neighbors.

LOL. English is very commonly spoken "in that part of the world." In fact, the street signs in Ramallah are in English as well as Arabic.

And there are plenty of publications in English for you to read, by both Israelis and Palestinians. I don't know why you aren't able to find them -- it would only require a few seconds Googling.

But here are a few major sites just to get you started (in case you're really interested in learning):

http://www.haaretz.com/ (Israel's major moderate/left-wing newspaper)

http://www.jpost.com/ (Israel's major right-wing newspaper)

http://www.btselem.org/English/ (Israel Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories)

yanno...if the ppl of Gaza are unhappy with a big wall between them and Israel, then they should talk to Israel to find out how to open it up again.....I DO know that launching rockets into Israel will not do it.

If the ppl of Gaza are unhappy with a big wall between them and Egypt, they should talk to Egypt to find out how to open it up to allow for travel and bringing in supplies. After all, when the wall was breeched by desperate ppl last month it wasnt US troops there that were rounding them up qnd throwing them back into Gaza.

As for all the English sources of info for that part of the world.....I didnt know...but Im still not interested.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.
