Am still waiting for the biometrics appointment(for EAD or is it for I-485?)

Has anyone received their GC without getting their EAD approved?

I know you can apply for I-485 without applying for EAD but am interested in hearing from folks who have applied for I-485 & EAD and have gotten their 485 approval ahead of EAD..Anyone?

The Biometrics are for both the I-485 and the EAD.... and yes there has been many people who have been approved for their greencard and have never got approval for the EAD.... most are people who get approved without interview at CSC....

Yes, some people have had a quick turnaround for their AOS approval where the EAD was still pending. It really makes no difference, and is a non-issue, and am left wondering why you are concerned?

Am concerned since my FP appointment is slow considering other Feb filers. What is a non-issue? what makes no difference?

Can you have AOS approval without ever getting your biometrics done?

Tampa is notoriously slow when it comes to biometrics. No, you cannot get approved without biometrics.
