Listed Consulate

This might be a stupid question but I think we all know how these little things pop up in our heads throughout this whole process! hehe

Anyway, I got my hard copy NOA2 in the mail today. And it says that the packet is being, "forwarded to the listed consulate." There isn't a consulate listed on the actual NOA2 so I'm wondering if they mean the consulate we requested on our paperwork. I'm just wondering if there is any where that I can check that they are forwarding it to London as my fiance has dual citizenship in the UK and New Zealand. Thanks!

Where does the beneficiary reside according to their G-325? That will be the embassy the NVC will send the petition to.

He lives in the UK and we did request the London embassy on our paperwork. I was confused as to the wording on the NOA2 as it said, "listed consulate." I was wondering where exactly it was listed. haha

Just wait for a little while and then email NVC with your NoA1 receipt number and they will tell you exactly the consulate they have sent your petition to as well as your new case number.

I included my NoA1 Receipt Number on the Subject box and in the email, I included my:

Type of Petition: K-1 Visa

Receipt Number: EACXX-XXX-XXXXX

Name of Petitioner:

Date of Birth of Petitioner: MM-DD-YYYY

Name of Beneficiary:

Date of Birth of Beneficiary: MM-DD-YYYY

Beneficiary's Country:

Perhaps you could email now since it took them like a week to reply emails.

I just got a letter in the mail today from NVC saying that our packet would indeed be going to London and that it should be sent there within the next week. What a pleasant surprise-efficiency!!!
