It appears from reading many of the posts here that the primary reason for filing an I-129F is to bring the spouse quicker to US while waiting for I-130 approval. But what if both I-130 and I-129F are approved at the same time (it appears like that would be the case with my petitions)? Is there still any benefits in pursuing I-129F? Looking at the timeline, it appears that the I-129F is still faster than I-130 by couple of months, but I cannot figure out the reason why. If using Jame’s shortcut for I-130, is I-129F still much quicker? Also, does anyone know if Mumbai (India) consulate schedules the interview quicker for K-3 visa compared to CR1? Thank you very much for your help! I am new to this forum and if this information is already somewhere, I would appreciate if you can point me in the right direction.

Thanks again!
