Happy Caterday! I volunteered to work every Saturday and Sunday. But really, it is for the best. There are no bosses around on the weekends. New permanent schedule:

Monday 10-3pm cool cuz I can do my paperwork and visit with my coworkers

Tuesday 3-9pm cool--free internet and no bosses

Wed OFF

Thur 3-9pm omg I willl miss the whole season of Survivor and Lost

Fri OFF

Sat & Sun 10-5pm

I think I will like having a set schedule.

Jackie - you *need* DVR!!! And as for LOST, well, that's exactly how I feel when watching it - Lost! Half the time I can't figure out wth is going on and if it's in the past, present, or future! I really like the show, but I'd really like to know what's going on. Guess I missed a coupla episodes too, so that didn't help matters.

And thanks, I *will* have a great ride - as soon as I get my bank deposit ready, which means stepping *away* from VJ!

Today will be the best Saturday of the year. My family and I are getting ready to go to breakfast with my nephews. My sons and nephews will have a great time while my husband and I stuff our faces. Afterwards - we will check on my new wedding ring that my hubby is purchasing for our anniversary. Then the most exciting part - going to check on the new truck I will get soon before our baby is born (mercedes benz truck-----BooYah!!!!!!!!!1) I can't wait. Then the rest of this wekend preparing our babies room - painting, ordering furniture, etc.) Pics to follow.

It is this place in Chicago called Flattop grill. We ate there yesterday after my husband's dental appoinment (it went great - he has one half of his teeth pretty and clean). Normally this place is good. It is an oriental style place where you choose exactly what you want (vegetables, meat, sauces, etc.then you leave it with the cook and he prepares it). In any case, after eating I instantly got sick. I felt over 100 degrees. I started unbuttoning my shirt. My husband wanted to go get the car, but I was afraid to be left alone for the two block walk and drive back. I leaned on the table and then on him. I still felt horrible. The people near are table were very very concerned. The sweat was pouring off of me. Quite naturally we thought it was the extremely already awful pregnancy. In the end I felt I was going to throw up. My husband wanted to walk me to the bathroom, but I could not move. So I threw up right there at the table in front of everyone. Awful!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say that the restaurant was as eager to get us out of there as we were to leave. My husband wanted me to mention that he loves that restaurant because it was the first place we sat together in America. In any case, it ended up being the food that made us both sick. My husband had diarrhea all last night and this morning. It was the fudging food.

I have a facial at 12:30 and I think I have conjunctivitis but I can't tell if it's that or just a cold/allergies. What to do, what to do. I have to work today which SUCKS but at least I can do it here in my comfie cozies. I hate cost report season.

Has anyone ever ordered from Canadian Muslim? I ordered three hijabs and aside from one I'm not too happy. I came stained and the entire package said it was from an ebay seller which I thought was weird.

I'm only an hour behind you Bridget... and remember my hubby gets home from work @ 6:30am, so I usually wake up when he gets home. Sometimes I go back to snuggle w/ him but sometimes I get up and start my day.

As for the possible conjunctivitis, you'd best cancel your facial appt - they are not allowed (by law) to work on you w/ that condition. It's highly contagious so it's better to be safe than sorry. If they work on you anyway, I'd question their professionalism. Reschedule for next week and pamper yourself at home today.

BTW, rode for about 40 min today - 20 min hard, stop to visit my aunt for an hour, another 20 min hard. Heck, I may go again later.... I'm going to buy a rack for my car today so I can venture out further than the nearby neighborhoods. I love riding around the campus lakes and on the levee bike path and downtown on the weekends.

Good morning buddies!

Woke up early to move my car because I'm paranoid now about snow emergencies and getting towed, but it doesn't look like this storm was as bad as I thought.

Duke plays at noon, so I'm planning on watching that with Wadi. Then he'll go to work, and I'm gonna spend some time doing some reading for my next exam. Right now I'm learning about the combustibility of various construction materials and how that affects property insurance underwriting. Just fascinating, fascinating I tell you.
