Vermont Filers

I'm starting to wish more and more that I lived in another state so I could have filed in Vermont!!! Why doesn't California share some of that backlog with Vermont and then California could be approving them within this century.

But don't get me wrong Vermont Filers...I am really, really happy for you because we have all put our blood, sweat, and tears into our other halfs and I wish you nothing, but the best of luck in your lives together!!!

I'm sorry that you like many other west coasters have to wait longer. It wold be nice if either the Nebraska or Texas services centers could help ease the load. I'm not entirely sure what they are being used for now anyways.

That is something I have yet to understand. Maybe there will be a day when things will change and the process will go a little faster. All we can do right now is cross our fingers and hope.

Wow...I hope whatever is going on in Vermont carries on happening, we are about to file through there in a couple of weeks. We're an older couple, time is precious lol..

And here's hoping whatever they started doing spreads to the other centers!

You would think these things would be done more electronically. With all the technology available, somehow our files would get scanned into a system and truly be done in order, as opposed to sitting in a box, on a shelf, in a room somewhere...

I think the whole process is depressing really. We can pinpoint down to the centimeter something from outer space... There has GOT to be a better way.

There have been many thoeries as to why Vermont is faster... my theory is two-fold:

1 is that CSC gets more applications from Mexico and Asia... these are applications which require more time because of waivers and higher fraud rates. Thus adjuncators are spending more time per application than in Vermont

2 is actual location of service centers. CSC is outside of LA... more diversity, worse commutes, urban setting. VSC is in the boonnies... tighter-nit group, better commute. Sense of community...

That my take... by the way I am a VSC filier...
