Well, MOnday is it...I board that plane and head back to Cairo...i can't wait. Interveiw is Thursday...less than a week away. We are nervous as you can imagine. How many of you went to the interveiw with your SO? Did you being there make him/her MORE nervous? Does going to the interview together really help? Or speed up the visa? Im worried that if they SEE us together...it may emphasize the age difference...yet it will also show we are united and a couple. Or maybe that we are trying to hard to prove our relationship is real???? Any thoughts on this??? Veterens encouraged to relpy.......:thumbs::thumbs:

Hi Faith!

I am SO excited for you, Egypt is a place I never get sick of visiting!! I didnt attend Ashraf's interview and as you know we got our visa pretty quickly(thank God), but I certainly don't think going to the interview would hurt. Just be prepared to wait. Ashraf waited something like 5 or 6 hours in line... so maybe even bring snacks and water!! LOL Don't worry about your age gap-- we had 9 years and it didn't seem to matter. Like I have told you before, I think you two have a strong case and a long history together and I think that helps..... try to relax and enjoy the time with your sweety and inshaallah he will be here with you very soon. How long are you staying in Egypt? Have a safe and blessed trip and I will be saying many prayers for you both on the BIG day!!

Big hugs to you both!!

thank you..

we have an 18 year difference. he's very nervous and is worried he will mess up the questions..I know he wont..but he doesn't kinow that yet...so now we are debating the best route. I've been ill...and he's worried about making me stand outside or wait long periods of time. I think its that man hunter thing...where he feels the need to pull this off on his own...then bring home the prize...know what i mean???

After 4 years together and 5 visits..Im hoping that will stand on its own merit....Otherwise our age and my past marriages are the only red flags we have...we've got over 700 pages of evidence...2 photo albums....my license plates from 2 full years with his name on it....i mean..come on...I drove with the mans name on my car for two years..what more do they want???? His profile has declared his love for me since July of 2004 and we took 8 months to know each other before he proposed...soooooooo..............you get the picture...

GOOD LUCK FAITH!! All will go well. Enjoy your trip to Egypt and being with your Sweetie again.

They didn't even mention our age difference at Ahmed's Interview.

I didn't go with Ahmed as you know.....His only last a few minutes......only evidence they asked for was my divorce papers......asked the few general questions I posted before.....told him congrats...happy life...fingerprinted him and sent him on his way. Took all of 3 minutes Ahmed said.

So you will be fine.......you have all the evidence and proof you need. Do Not Worry. Inshallah he will be approved quickly. I have been keeping you in my prayers daily and will say a special one for you two on the BIG DAY!! Good Luck!!

all the best!!! and enjoy your trip!! i looooove visiting egypt!! :luv:

::There’s a laugh in my eyes::

There’s a waltz in my walk

And it’s been such a long time

Since there was hope in my talk

If you never knew

What it is that’s new.. it’s you

‘Cause when your hands are in mine

You set a fire that everyone can see

And it’s burning away

Every bad memory

To tell you the truth

If it’s something new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

The world’s a different place

Where nothing’s too hard to say

And nothing’s too hard to do

Never too much to go through

To tell you the truth

Everything that’s new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

My life, my life

Ohh

So if I get to grow old (oh if I get to grow old)

With many years behind me (many years behind me)

There’s only one thing I want (aahh)

One thing I need beside me

For all that you are

For everything you do

For all that you’ve done

Just for showing me the truth

I will not say Good Luck because I do not believe in luck. But! I will just say may God grant you a good interview, calm your nerves, and grant you the approval!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Thank you, I do hope they see this. Our chat records are soo extensive just since we filed k1...i could only print ONE page from each day. Other wise I'd end up with a good 30,000 pages...we are sooo blessed to have soo much time together. We talk on phone (he calls from skype) 4-5 times a day, ring constantly, sms 3-4 times a day or more..depending on the day...and chat off and on all day...we have always on connections and stay connected. He helps me working from home...and I also work nights...and other things here in home family wise. I have NOT met his family yet. For our own personal reasons. So when asked if I have met them....he will open up the phone records and indicate that we have not met in person, however I have talked to his family on the phone many times. And he has also talked a lot to my parents as well. He knows more about me than even I do...LOL....he can tell u my marriage, seperation AND divorce dates...I can't even do that...lol.

Thank you everyone for your prayers...
