Hello everyone!

I don't think i have ever posted on this theread or maybe i did a while back...Don't know for sure...

Just wanted to say that before we started this process, in March, i used to read posts of people that were already in the middle of it....especially or January filers...And now that i went back to the thread and saw that some couples are already married or just very close to it...gave me butterflies in my stomach... It is just soooo exciting to see a very happy ending to all this mess...

Congratulations to everyone!!!

VJ rocks ;)

Thank you very much for the concern Dawn and Sally & Kim... I am deeply touched (F) ... thankfully, typhoons do not visit my hometown so we are safe here... but unfortunately, the other parts of the country is not that lucky, and my father's relatives lives in areas which are experiencing storms right now... as of now, we still don't have news about them :(

It is Sunday evening here... In our church, we offered a special prayer for the people who were being affected by typhoon, esp the ship that recently sunk here and all other calamities & crisis that our country and even the rest of the world is facing now... we also offered a special prayer for the political fate of the USA.

On a lighter note, our prayer group (our church is divided into several zonal group that meet once a week to pray jointly) surprised a member couple who are celebrating their 25th year together as husband as wife. Each family in our group brought some food over and we had dinner together. It was fun and touching and inspiring...the wife shared about the struggles they went through and how thankful she is that they have overcome all the marital storms still intact... the husband said that if time will turn back, he will still chose to marry his wife and no one else.

I wish and pray that all of us will reach our 25th, 50th & even 75th wedding anniversaries with our current partners...and I hope that we would still be madly in love with our partners (and them with us) by that time.

Aleena: thank you for the congrats... soon you will be with your love one also. Good luck to you.

Thank you again for the thoughts and concerns dawn, sally & kim. (F)(F) (F)

Blessed Sunday everyone. (F)hug2a.gif

I'm glad to hear you are safe Gaye and all the best for your father's family!

Storms are scary... we had a tornado hit my plant Friday of last week. There was 100,000 sq feet totally flattened and several workers cars were totaled. I was off on Friday because mine and Marco's family's were here.

What is everyone up to this weekend? We went shopping yesterday and got some clothes, etc..and then today we went to some waterfalls that are local. Of course they aren't anything like Niagara Falls or anything..but they were cool!

You stay safe also nicole.. Philippines is not the only country being afflicted with typhoons and floods now.. i have been reading about floods in some part of the US also and I wish everyone to be safe always.

Will be going out of town for 3days.. will be visiting my younger sister who is expecting a baby and will also be sending off another sister who is going abroad for work... there is actually 4 family members who are leaving home this year.. first my sister then in a few months time, I and the kids will be leaving also. So it is a little sad but life goes on. we are all just trying to make the most of the remaining days that we have together becoz who knows how many years it will be till we all get together again as a family. :(

I am getting a little sentimental already.. :P ...

Well, I wish everyone a happy week and loads of approval for those who are still waiting especially for Mounia, Sunnybear, Shes and of course Kim. and visa for those who are waiting for visa, interview & medical approval for those who will be going for interview & medical and also interview dates soonest for those who are waiting for that.

God bless everyone.

Thanks for all the congratulations :) Would have posted sooner, but we did a computer free weekend!!! Nope, we didn't go anywhere, because of my work -- we're going to take a 3 day trip to the North Carolina outer banks this coming weekend though.

The reverend did a wonderful little service, instead of the typical civil kind ... so it wasn't so bad. Although we were both nervous once it started ... and it probably didn't help having my mother standing behind Stephen by a few feet, making funny faces at me!!!! :D Overall, it was a nice little service and Duke Gardens was very pretty. Now we are trying to gather everything for AOS, etc.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!!!
