I was lucky; the dress almost fits me perfectly off the rack!!! But I know I will have to get it altered if I lose any weight, which I'm planning to do!!!

Time for bridal bootcamp!!!

I hear ya there ... I was lucky too, mine fit me quite well, but needs just a bit of alterations!!! I'm going to pick it up next week, but won't have the alterations done until August.

Can't wait to see your gown Amanda.. but I can't wait more to see all of you in your wedding dress. :dance::dance::dance:

I can't wait to see it too!!! The one I tried on had black accents, not navy blue, so it will be nice to see it finally in navy -- I did see a similar dress by the same designer with navy, so I know it will be just right!!!

I just picked up a "casual" dress for our civil service .... and the countdown is on .... 2 days, 1 hour until we have our civil ceremony. We are going to Duke Gardens and the reverend who is performing our family ceremony/vow renewal is going to take care of our civil. He suggested the gazebo at Duke Gardens -- and hey, no admission charge to just go in, and have the quick legal ceremony :)

Another step completed ... we went back down to the Social Security Administration today, Stephen was in the SAVE system - so he'll have his SSN# in 5-10 days!!!
