So we are back home from the Newark Airport. He had no problem at all getting in!

His plane arrived at the domestic terminal, so they were very casual in customs & immigration (unlike at JFK).

IO: "Purpose of your visit?"

G: "Visiting a friend."

IO: "Does the friend happen to live at xxx address?"

G: "Yes.

IO: "Does your friend happen to be female?" (smiling)

G: "Yes."

IO: "Is she more than just a friend?" (smiling bigger)

G: "Yes, she's my fiancee."

IO: "Then have a good visit!" (gives three month stamp)

I think the IO was trying to show that he knew what the deal really was, and was setting Gerry up to give the answers he needed to hear. Thank you, very nice Immigration Officer!!!

Thank you Rachel, I keep planning future things with him and then realize until we get the interview date they wont happen and I have no idea when it all will happen. It's out of my control and I don't like that! So hopefully this week!! This is worse than waiting for our noa2 I think! I keep having him call ahh!!
