Wooooohoooo ... unexpectedly, after not really checking today ... check my email 10 minutes ago, and we had our approval. We are both sitting here a little bit stunned ... almost in disbelief.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has been sticking around to cheer the rest of us on who haven't gotten the NOA2 yet. Instead of checking the USCIS site every hour, I'm usually surfing around VJ to occupy the time and maintain some sort of sanity. Good luck with the remainder of the process!

I hang around much more often than I should...probably to celebrate with people who have gotten their approvals or cheer on those still waiting... :)

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has been sticking around to cheer the rest of us on who haven't gotten the NOA2 yet. Instead of checking the USCIS site every hour, I'm usually surfing around VJ to occupy the time and maintain some sort of sanity. Good luck with the remainder of the process!

We will continue to cheer you on and we will be here celebrating with you when you get your NOA2. This is what this thread is supposed to be... to celebrate with those who receive good news and to cheer and encourage those who are still waiting.

It won't be long for you guys... You will have it very soon. Just believe it in your heart.

I'll be out for a few days, I'm hoping and praying to see you already have your approval when we return this Saturday.. the USCIS won't be taking a break for the Holy Week right?.. They shouldn't, they should clear all of you still waiting!

I hope Dawn and the others who got NOA2 earlier would have interview scheds already. Crossing my fingers and toes.

I'll continue to hold all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong, it will come very soon for all of you.hug2a.gif

Well... tomorrow may be the day. The day I finally tell my parents that he's applied for a visa to move here permanently, so we can get married. :(<--should be a happy face, but it's not

My parents have always been suspicious of him because of the way me met (online). Even after spending time with him during his past visits. And because it hasn't been too long after my divorce, I know they will think it's scandalous.

Here is the worse part... our original plan was to tell them together in April, after the NOA2 came through and all. But because I was passed over for that promotion in work and can't count alimony as income, now I need to ask my parents to co-sponsor him. And I need to ask them soon so they can get their I-134's done asap. :o

It's so sad. This is supposed to be such a happy announcement, not one full of anxiety and dread. crazy.gif<-- how I feel inside

I really just want them to be happy for us, but instead I fully expect a lecture. Or worse.

But all I can do is throw it out there and hope for the best, right? Maybe (hopefully) I'll be pleasantly surprised.

And if tomorrow isn't the day, then it will definitely be on Easter.

Dont worry psiprez, surely things will turn out well for you and your fiance, just gotta trust on that... Take it as your chance to prove to everyone that what you and your love one has is real and sincere... People just have different point of views about it... but what matters most is your own belief and feelings, so just keep your faith...your love for each other will sweep all worries away! :luv:
