January filers VSC lottery, who gets the jackpot next?

The thought of people studying our petitions still creeps me out a little, to be honest.

Alex and I are both pretty shy people and having to write the explanation of how we met and having to submit photos and e-mails/letters was excruciatingly painful! I just have to remind myself that hundreds of other couples have also submitted petitions and have had their relationship examined, too, and that the USCIS people are too busy to afford to spend time reading any part of the petition (other than the forms) too closely.

Well Rachel as long as you didn't include any of "those" pictures to prove a bona fide relationship :lol: then I don't think they'll spend much time reading through your file. I've read that when it comes to adjudication, they don't spend much more than 15 minutes. Of course if you sent really really really good "those" type pictures, you will receive many touches for months as it gets passed from adjudicator to adjudicator. I think you'll be ok :hehe:

They probably keep "those" pictures.... ;)

If they're really good, you'll probably get an RFE asking for more pictures!! :lol:

You just know that someone, somewhere has submitted those type of photos. :D

Oh yeah....I thought about submitting a video, but then I thought it might be in bad taste...LMAO

26th March 2008 - NOA2 recieved via email

19th May 2008 - Interview............APPROVED!!!!!!

21st May 2008 - Visa in hand

29th July 2008 - POE

2nd September 2008 - Married

19th September - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP to Chicago lockbox

25th September - Check cashed $1010.00 (OUCH!!)

29th September - Received NOA's for AOS/EAD/AP

13th October - AOS Petition transferred to CSC!!!

17th October - Biometrics (Tampa Office)

17th October - AOS/EAD Touched

20th October - AOS Touched

21st October - AOS Touched

6th November - AOS/EAD/AP Touched (probably due to change of address)

10th December - EAD approved

28th January 2009 - GC approved without interview. Done with all this till 2011!!!!!!!!

Personally I wouldn't send them something that I wouldn't show to the rest of the world, but everybody's different, so maybe some felt like it was a good proof (as Rachel said ;) ) and sent some of "those" photos! I don't think they accept videos though.

Nick and I submitted one of us kissing...but we had clothes on! ;) LOL

I don't mind sharing mushy stuff...Nick and I are very open people, with one another and with others.

I share my feelings openly.

We send each other very romantic, very lengthy emails and I don't mind sharing them. I'm proud of our love.

Not saying people who are more private aren't proud of their love though!!! :)

Hey hon :)

The reason you aren't on that list is because you have a February Sent and NOA1 date on your time line.

Dbears is using a program which captures all the January filers.

I'm sure she could add you but it may add all the February filers too...she'll let you know!

In the Waiting on VSC to make a decision thread....Trinner posts the same type of thing but for all filers waiting from Vermont.
