Well here I am again....... my hunnie is at home and I'm in Canada on business.....We were hoping his AP would be in by now so he could come on trips with me like this..but atleast I'm only gone until Friday.....

How is everyone?

Yeah, at least it is just a couple of days separation, unlike before.

I only have 19days left here in my hometown before the kids and I fly off to Manila for my CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) seminar, then off to NC, USA by Sept 4.. Mix emotions is increasing as days go by.

Oh, my dress will be finished next week, I'm getting excited to see the finished product.

I hope everybody else are doing great.

Congratulations on the Interview Rachel!!

We just got back from Stephen's biometric appointment ... 1 hour of waiting (in separate rooms since the appointment was for him) then 5 minutes to take 10 individual fingerprints, 2 more with all four fingers from each hand together, and a few photographs. And filling out a 1 page demographic sheet. And then the last comment they make to you ... if you don't get your greencard in the next 13 months, you'll be sent another letter to come back to repeat the biometrics!!!! Oi!

I had my dress fitting last weekend, it will be ready in another week. Getting ready to order my veil and garter .... about 5 weeks to go for the family wedding.

Im doing good, been here 3 weeks and starting to feel settled, have applied for ssn but they will only put it in the name on my passport. so have to sort that out when it comes.

I'm getting excited but there are still so much more to do here.. havent started packing yet Will start packing next week but I am still making the most of the last 2weeks we have here. Will be buying presents for in laws also next week, will be buying native stuffs from here and also preserved foods like dried mangoes.

My dress is a very simple Monique Lhuillier insipred dress, all lace but without the price tag of monique. Would try take picture of it when i get it next week.

Grats Kim! I noticed your timeline, how do you find out when NVC recieved and when it leaves?

I forgot who was the petitioner and who was the beneficiary between you and Keith, neiwez, the petitioner needs to call NVC to ask if they receive your case, ask for the new case number and also ask when it will be sent to embassy. Call them at (603) 334-0700, 1, then 5. They will ask for info on the petitioner and benefiary, such as the beneficiary's name and date of birth, and your case number (VSC case number). You cannot use the automated system to check K-1 Visas as they do not load these into their automated system. You must speak with a customer service representative. They said the best time to call is 7:31 AM Eastern Standard Time.
