But if we want to go there to play the hypocrisy/inequality game at least we can say the following to be completely true:

Nobody got waterboarded/tortured/blown up as a direct/indirect consequence of Whitewater nor Rose Law, even though I do detest lawyers and they are a pestilence unto which our species should be purged of...

In a more literal way, the following is also true:

Plenty of people have been waterboarded/tortured/blown up as a direct/indirect consequence of BushCo's party between 2001 and 2008. Good and bad. It is what it is.

Different cohorts, different circumstances. Liars are liars are politicians. We can all definitely agree to that unless you know for a fact BushCo is in fact, being honest.

And yes, even public opinion is capable of judging an apple for an apple and an orange for an orange.
