So I dropped off my I-751 petition and evidence at the Post Office this afternoon. I double checked that I used the correct version of the form, that all of the spaces were filled in or crossed off as n/a, that both my husband and I signed and dated it, that it was in black ink (can't imagine getting an RFE for blue ink, though . . .), that the check was properly addressed for the correct amount and signed, that the cover letter was signed by both of us, that the evidence is all identified by a Table of Contents, that everything except the check (which is paperclipped to the front) is two hole punched and held together with an Acco fastener, that the tabs for each section are on the bottom, that I have copies of everything submitted or the list of what was submitted if I need to make more copies or bring to an interview, and that I submitted it within the 90 day window. I sent it certified priority mail with a return receipt (maybe overkill, hehehe) legibly addressed to the correct Service Center with the "Attention: I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions" recorded on the front. So, now I wait. The rest is up to them (Gulp! ).

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Congrats. Big relief I bet.

My GC expires May25 and my sons expires July 25. So I am waiting for Jon's 90 day window to open so I can send our's in together.

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

And this morning I received the email notification from USPS that my certified package has been delivered at USCIS Texas. (It actually arrived 2 days ago and a notice was left. It was 'picked up' this morning at 6 am:-) ).

Sent our I-751 to TSC in early November, transferred to CSC, already had biometrics (agan) and the wait continues!!!

Eagle's Landing? We are about 4 miles apart. We live just off of Walt Stephens Rd. How about all of us getting together for a coffee some time? Good luck on the progress of your I-751 - it sounds like it is moving nicely through the system.
