Your attitude is very annoying to many VJers. You always write something that is completely irrelevant to the thread. If you want something to be discussed, why don't you start a thread?

I say Hills will take Ohio and O will take Texas.

Quite possibly. Just based on the rivalry due to football, whichever state chooses one candidate, it's highly likely the other state will choose the opposite candidate as well. I know football doesn't seem like a "good" way to pick who're you're going to vote for, but you have to remember that most people aren't too knowledgeable about politics. They either vote strictly along party lines ("my family have always been Republicans/Democrats so I am too!") or because someone "feels right" to them.

That is what I think. But he might win in OH too.

I've been hearing a lot of people talking about hilary, I think she'll take OH by a small margin. Regardless, I can't wait for Tuesday to be over, I'm bombarded with calls at home, reps at school and billboards in between... It sucks being an important state to voting...

Deadpool, if it was between Michigan and Ohio, it'd be opposite, but we're not that bothered about Texas :) Rather lose to Texas than UM ANY DAY!!!! And I'd root for Texas over UM too ;)

In a press conference aboard his plane on the flight into Beaumont, Texas, this afternoon, Obama did his best to set a modest goal for Tuesday’s vote.

“I think that we have to maintain our delegate lead and make sure that we don’t get blown out in those two states,” he said. “If we come out of the four contests on Tuesday with a gap in the delegate count of 100 to 150, which we have right now, then I continue to believe that we will go to the convention with the most earned delegates and I believe that we will be the nominee."

Asked whether he thought it was too soon to write Clinton’s obituary, he said yes.

“Remember New Hampshire,” he said.

The objective has to be try to win both states.

Yes but there are these two rather important words:

Managing Expectations.

;)

Very astute. If Obama says 'All I need to do is not get blown out', and he loses by 4% points, the media story becomes 'Obama Exceed Expectations; Clinton Camp Barely Treading Water.' If Obama says 'We need to win', and loses by 4% points, the media story becomes 'Obama Campaign Falters; Clinton Rallying.'
