it is only a crime when you wake up and notice 3 large bags of fritos and salsa are gone as well as, a box of moon pies

It's like one of those silly whodunit games. hahahaha.

Where did my moon pies go? The box is still here....so are the wrappers....but the moonpies are gone. There's a bunch of frito crumbs on my pants and salsa down the front of my shirt. There must have been a struggle. I don't remember a thing and I feel all groggy. Hmmmm.

lol..sounds like you are experinced ...

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

The problem is that a large number of those are for victimless, petty drug crimes.
Yep. Decriminalizing drug use would bring the number way down.

I guess it would be sinister to suggest that this increase in incarceration may - at least to some degree - have to do with corrections morphing into a for-profit industry?

Yep. Decriminalizing drug use would bring the number way down.

And it would allow cops to spend more time working on true offenses.

I would think you would prefer a regulated store over the glock-packing dealers that sell in your neighborhood now.

Why not, we could start a pilot program right next door to you. You volunteering? Users of drugs dont pack glocks?

I didn't say that users don't own guns, but most probably don't. In fact, most meth users would have probably pawned a gun off if they did own one.

What if. What if there was a government regulated meth depot where users could buy meth. You have to be a card carrying meth user though. What's the worse case scenario. What if you put it outside of major centers and towns, so all the meth users lived in huts and grew vegetables in their own gardens.

Might have to sell a lot of vegetables to buy the meth though.

Care to comment on medical costs for your great idea? for the ones that OD. or any other drug induced illness. I suppose a house and a little welfare might be in order also seeins they cant work cuz their so fcked-up.

WHAT A PLAN!

Do you seriously think that medical costs incurred by "legal" drug use would cost more than the profits of the illegal - organised drug trade?

There's a VAST difference between something like marijuana and something like meth. Meth is destroying lives, families, towns. Pot helps the economy by boosting the junk food, video game, and psychedelic poster industries.
