We haven't had any touches since her biometrics so touches really don't mean anything as we have our appointment letter and no touches.

I've checked online about a dozen times today..no touches and my hubby says nothing in the snail mail/email either :( I too, am happy to see all the good news the last couple of days.!

You're right...touches really don't mean anything other than someone looked at/moved/ or ?? with your file. Luckily you have an appt letter already :thumbs: Since I don't have anything yet, a simple touch would be nice...please USCIS??!! :)

Elmira, cheer up! :thumbs: Don't worry too much. Since you got RFEd that slightly change your processing timeline. Just hang on tight and surely your time is just around the bend.

For your info! Applicable ONLY to those who got RFEd

Based on the USCIS web site, adjudication of ancillary benefit applications (EAD and AP) may be delayed if all initial evidence in support of the principal application is not submitted in the time of filing.

Hey guys, congrats to all those receiving good news!

Ok, I have some complications appearing down the road for me and wanted to see if anybody had suggestions for me.

Our current lease will be up June 30th, 2008.....I hope to have EAD/AP by then but not AOS....after that, we will be "homeless" for a month....in fact, we are planning on roadtripping during July from Chicago to Las Vegas (her mom lives there) and back to Chicago....we are planning on closing on a new home in August, right before she starts her new job and I go back to school (I'm leaving my job)....anyway, long story short....should I go ahead and change my address with USCIS now to her dad's address? And do mail forwarding to that address with USPS once we move out?

My biggest concern is missing the interview letter....by my estimates the interview will be scheduled late July, early August (if all goes well)....

Where do I begin in changing the address on file? Anyone done that before?

Hi,

I would suggest that you change your address by June 1 . You can do it online. That's what i did. Then they will send you something that they received your changed of address. This letter will be sent to the new address you have given them. Confirming the change of address. So you wont miss anything. I got my notice for change of address in a week.

on the AOS front, this just in from CRIS...

"Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was

Creeping closer and closer...but I haven't had any touches on the AP. I'm kinda hoping that they will just give us AOS fast, and we won't even need tha AP...yes, straight to AOS sounds good to me!

I know... :help: I need to do something with that...

again checked my status online and my I-485 was touched today... hopefully it will speed up the approval of EAD.. I know many people will tell that tocuhes don't mean anything... but sometimes you want to hope :blush:

Hi,
